I can not say I have used or own a Vamo, but have used many others. I am now using a Provari and it has by far given me the most satisfaction, but it is not the solve of all.

It is very important to keep in mind that its not only the battery mod that matters, it's also the tank/carto/device you use on it that is important too. I have found my favorite delivery devices to date to be RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizers), AGA / AGA-T, and occasionally while out and about Vivi Novas. RDA's such as A7's or MOV RDA's allow me to drip 10-15 drops of juice in them and vape for 30 min. On the RDA's I like to use some good quality silica wick and coils in the range of 1.3 - 1.7 ohms - creates a perfect flavor and clouds on the Provari @ 3.8v - 4v.

What are you using on it ? Carto tank , vivi nova ? What ohms are they rated ? What setting on the Vamo ? The APV doesn't make more vapor , the Juice , temp( watts or volts ) and the carto/atty/wick is what produces the vapor . Provari is nice , but if you put the same delivery system on it that you are using now , with the same juice you will get the same vapor/hit .

What he said. The mod won't make a difference if you have a crappy delivery system.

Definitely. In fact, my flavor, th and vapor always seems more tied to the delivery system more than the device. Once I set the voltage, I don't get more or less out of my Vmax or Twist.

lol changing the battery doesnt produce more vapor changing whats attached does....... dont get a porvari if the vamo doesnt do it for you. i think your looking in the wrong direction if what you want is more and better vapor .

Thrasher has said it...another thing i'll say "the indian...not the arrows" think on that one ;)

I've had both -- and I sold my Vamo, but that's not really relevant here. Both have more than enough wattage to crank out big clouds. You really should be looking at your atomizer.

I definitely prefer the Provari, but you're blaming the wrong hardware, and if it sucks on a Vamo, it'll most likely suck on a Provari, too. Maybe a little less, but it'll suck.

It's not the Vamo it's your delivery system or juice. High PG juice will produce less vapor. I have a Vamo and a Twist and I get decent vaor production on both of them. Depending on which delivery system I use. I also use 60/40 pg/vg mix. Higher VG gives me more vapor. When I started vaping I was using 80/20 pg/vg and I got very little vapor.

What delivery system are you using? I get better flavor with my vivi novas but I get the same vapor with both my viv nova and my carto tanks.

Using a 60/40 mix I get plenty of vapor.

Excalibrate,

I'm still waiting for my first pv device to arrive. It happens I chose a Zmax and it will be coming with a clearo, but I've also ordered a pyrex tank and a vivi nova kit. Your experience is the one I've worried I will have... that I will not be able to get things to work satisfactorily and that I'll be very disappointed.

The thing is, while I worry about disappointment, I know that my experience will depend on doing everything i can to educate myself about every component to these devices, and the more variables I can unearth, the better. As Oxygen Thief has advised, while I've been waiting for my orders to arrive, I've been watching youtube videos about every piece of equipment I've ordered.

I'm a visual learner, so it's been hugely helpful to see a tank or clearo or vivi taken apart, cleaned and even how to replace the wicks and coils. I've watched different people's videosfor the exact same things to verify and doublecheck the steps involved.

As a result, I think I'm prepared to setup and maintain my Zmax... I'm actually pretty excited to get my hands on my stuff! If things go wrong, I've seen the steps that all of those video tutors took to get back on track, so I know I have options and things to try.

Please do take some time to search for videos that support how your CE4, vivi, carto and AGA T are working for you. They really are the key elements. I hope you won't give up and that you'll be able to move from disappointment to satisfaction... and even fun, when it comes to vaping. Then post and let noobs like me know what you did to make your situation better! :)

Good luck to you!

It was mentioned once on the first page but your Vamo is in RMS mode, yes? I went from Twists to a Vamo using the same equipment you are and there was a very noticeable difference. I would guess you're either not in RMS mode or just haven't gotten through the learning curve of the volts vs ohms vs juice. And FYI, the voltage I vaped at on my twists is not the same I vape at on the Vamo using the exact same equipment and juice.
