Hello i am wondering if anyone can tell me the input range on a vamo v2.
What i am wanting to do is make a insert that would take a USB cable and input that into my vamo v2.
Like by using a extra extender tube putting usb wire into it and that wire would then be ran along a plastic dowel rod the size of a 18650 battery. With the + and - going to there right ends.
Basically allowing me to use my vamo off a usb wall charger while i am at my desk ( which i am most times).

Idea came to me that some thing like this could turn ANY mod into a usb pass thru mod.
Was actually mildly surprised some thing like this was not already on the market.

This is dangerous as the device can draw much more current (typical 1.5A but as much as 5A) than anything USB related can supply. I wouldnt draw anything more than 500ma from USB. With a proper power supply and safety protection, the idea itself is doable, but not from USB.

This is correct. The "fast" USB devices use the downstream charging capabilities of the USB specification and provide a theoretical maximum of 2.1A. While this results in faster charge times, it also results in faster battery demise through a shortened duty cycle.

The Vamo is capable of drawing up to 5.0A, and there is no USB port capable of safely delivering that kind of current.

You would have to build some other type of transformer using a 110v AC circuit.
