I received My Vamo today and I have some questions. I brought the Vamo vv mod v2 but it has black rubber buttons is this the revise version? when I was vaping i was taking 4 or 5 vapes in a row I tried to vape again and nothing happened no vaper or errors and it's not powering down either than I tried it again and it worked. This happen a couple of times and than I notice that the ego clearomizer was a little hot. Is this normal or do I have a problem with my Vamo vv mod or ego clearomizer ? I am using 1 icr18350 3.7v 900 mAh

Some of the Vamos are offered with different colored bottons besides the metal version. As for the unit not firing after 4 or 5 vapes, I'm at a loss. I haven't had that problem with mine whatsoever. Have you tried it with a different atomizer or carto/clearo? This would be the best way to narrow down the problem. Many of the Clearos out there can be defective and could be causing the internal circuitry of your to overheat. I would also inform the vendor that your having issues just to play it safe.

You may have a problem with the battery you are using. I would not use ICRs. IMRs have safer chemistry and they are designed for high drain. Don't use anything other than IMRs.

Ditto to what Kiwi said as you may be tripping the protection circuit if useing protected type batteries.
Another thing to check -look inside the tube without battery in and the positive pin in there should have a round insulator going around it as the early versions did not and caused some problems with flat top batteries.
