I have a Vamo V5 and a couple MVP 2.0's. I prefer the MVPs. Unless you decide to use stacked 18350 batteries in the Vamo you won't get much more power with a Vamo. The battery life on a Vamo with a vtc4 or even a 3400mah Panasonic isn't any better than the MVP. The Vamo has pulse-width modulation which can be a little bit harsher than the MVP and the Vamo doesn't have as low of an ohm range.
Honestly, I'm very happy to own both and they all get regular use (
vaping on the Vamo as I type this). For preference it actually comes down to size and weight. The Vamo is really tall in 18650 mode and doesn't last very long in 18350 mode. It's wonderful for at home vaping. The MVP is amazingly long lasting and very portable. The VTR is nice but just too heavy. I didn't buy a VTR because it's simply too large and heavy to be useful for me. If that isn't an issue for you then it may be a great option.
