I've had issues with the center pin getting pushed down too far in my SVD, so as long as I'm careful on that, it's a nice APV. I like the lock feature for the settings.
The MVP v2 has been a good back up APV for me as well. I keep this one at work because it works on the same charger connection as my phone.

The vamo v2 was my first love, my first apv after using the egos for a few months. I like the ease of checking resistance, adjusting voltage, etc with the 3 button layout. Given a choice, I would still get it and jam an air flow controller on it. Not that I need it now as mine is still alive and kicking after more than half a year.

    No you can't
Love my Vamo don't want to give it up.

I was having the same problem with my Vamo after a year of working great just so happened the O-ring under the pin broke put another in a week ago and now OK.

Might want to try cheap fix it just might work out; goto home depot
    #60 1/4 OD X 1/8 ID X 1/16 Danco part # 96774

    It might be a fix?

If you do try it and it works out OK; PM me and let me know so I can put it in my bag of tricks.

I was thinking about that option and may just do that in the future. I'm going to a vape shop shortly to check out the z max and a few others. I might just use my vamo with some ego threaded stuff like my evod and mini protanks for now.
    Thanks!

Sigelei Zmax is pretty solid, I would avoid the Smoktech version though. I got the V2 before they came out with the telescope and it still rocks almost a year later. The telescope is even better, I think I'll pick up a telescope if the V2 ever decides to quit. I also have the Mini Sig, its been rocking for about 8 months.

Innokin makes some good stuff also, really can't go wrong with Innoking or the Sig Zmax.

I want a Zmax telescopic. I think thats the most versatile of the lot. No irreplaceable battery inside to go bad in 1 year. Stainless construction, so you know the body won't have issues. A fairly trusted software chip. Reasonable quality control coming from sigelei. Ability to use in 18350 stealth mode or 18500 or 18650 modes. Flat top that allows your Igo or any atomizer to look flush mounted. As we just heard, the quality of the threads has been improved upon since prior versions. We're pretty deep into the Sigelei Zmax version line, so your getting something that has been improved upon many many times both physically and software-wise. I'd have to guess that by now, the Sigelei Zmax is a pretty good contender for the Provari.. Probably not nearly as heavy, but I'm guessing its durable & not break prone like earlier versions & other mods, such as the Vamo.

I'm surprised we don't see new versions of the lavatube pop up. I miss the lavatube. (not saying you should consider one, lol)

Thanks for the reply, some really good info. I looked at the z max and was set to buy it when I left the house but after talking to my friends at my local vape shop, they showed me the itaste vtr and couldn't resist it. It has the ability to use your own batteries although it cannot be stealth moded with an 18350 but I can use 2 of them haha. The vtr also goes up to 15 watts/6 volts and has a 5 amp limit. When I build coils I aim for a 1.2 to 1.5 ohm coil but sometimes fall short and have to back off my screws and tinker around with it, the vtr can fire sub ohms so that really sold me on it. So far, so good!

About the lava tube, there was a version 2.5 of it around last fall (I think), dont know about future versions though. My friend had one and he loved that thing too.

I love the vamo too, it hits like Mike Tyson in hit prime. I don't know if that trick would work, is it an o ring or a threaded connection? My threads are shot, I can slide an igoL in there without even twisting it down, a little plumbers tape kept it working for the last week though hahaha

I couldn't say might be I was lucky all I can say is when I changed the O-ring it screws in.

If this isn't my problem and I'm going to drill a small hole in the 510 connect just before the pin and intert a piece of thin wire through the hole and twist cut and tuck in the well it should take up any slack in the connect and make it last a little more. I have no complaints with I got over a year out of the bad boy.

I'll order another one soon it's that good I want a V5 anyway and for the price why get something else.

Didn't hold up so I came up with a new idea I think will work.

This is what I did. You can PM me to find out how it's holding up if don't make any post on it again.

I drilled a small hole through the wall of 510 connecter from inside out just above pin not close enough to damage O-RING took a small wire I USED A ONE OF THOSE TWIST TIE PACKS YOU GET WITH A LOAF OF BREAD clean the plastic off and THREAD THROUGH THE HOLE TWIST ENDS TOGETTHER CUT AND TUCK ANY EXTRA WIRE IN THE WELL.

All my tanks are nice and tight; if I have to replace the wire it will take two min. going on 24 hours holding up.

It may not last for ever but quick fix and backup ;)

    1st Update

The wire broke after 34 hours of use just finished re-wiring it again maybe with better quality wire it will last a little longer. For now this is a temp fix

    I gave this it's own thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/519859-tempory-thread-fix-vamo.html

I cant believe there arent more Provari or Reo suggestions here. Seriously, I LOVE my Evic after a long time of use, its my go to VV device and i stepped to it from a Vamo

I have an evic and moved to a vamo, the evic didn't give me enough wattage. I still use it once in a while with a few different tanks. I picked up a VTR but after about a week not too sure about it?
