wanted to do a project with a vamo, as they are functional and cheap.... made out of solid stainless and brass battery tube and buttons.....

it also has a charging board. been a long project so far, difficult to find time with a family!

the hope is that if and when it's finished and i can get it working (!) that if a board goes, it will be easy to pop a new one in!

big fan of box mods, haven't used a tube for a long time. if i had the time, i would do this for my old lavatube, sigelei and evic!!!

    No you can't
    Very cool Vamo. :toast:

Looks like a very good idea, I might even try my hand at doing the same one day. :)

Makes a lot of sense to me after going through Dna 30, Segiel 30 and almost losing my Cloupor T5, during these hard times my Vamo's always been there for me and ALWAYS will be.

I replaced the DNA 30 with another so I'm in no rush but will get around to doing the same as you.

it's a great back-up, my old lavatube was until i dropped it too many times!!! I could buy about 12 vamo boards for the price of a cloupor t5, enough to keep me going indefinitely!!!! maybe i could get one a month!!! if i can get this going properly, then it may be my go-to box. still haven't decided whether to isolate the negative to the top plate or to connect it to the body... the former would require extra work...
