I'm expecting my vamo in the mail tomorrow and I plan on moving my mini vivi vivi nova back and forth from the vamo to an ego when I'm on the go. I really like the 1.8 ohm head on the ego, is it ok to use that on the Vamo? Any recommendations on wattage or voltage that I should start with? This is my first variable voltage/power device, so I don't want to blow anything up off the bat! Next payday I am planning on giving carto tanks a shot, so my nova may be staying on the ego after. Since additional heads will be needed soon for the nova, I was planning on buying more 1.8 ohm ones but will reconsider if I hear that they aren't suitable for the vamo.

Also, how long do the batteries in a mod like this typically need to charge before they can be used. I am getting two 350 batteries and plan on using the Vamo in the short mode.

Any thoughts or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

The vivi novas go great with the vamo. I own two vivis and use them on my vamo v2! the only problem i had was the restriction of air flow because of the small intake holes but i drilled them to solve the problem. as for voltage or wattage, 3.7v to 4.5v will do you right most of the time, or if you decide to go watts, 9.0 is where i "set and forget". Using the vamov2 in short mode is my preference and the battery lasts for about 2-6 hours depending on use of course. i always carry a spare or two with me depending on how long I'll be out of the house. Hope this helps!

My Vision branded Vivi Heads that read 1.8 ohms are not 1.8 ohms .. they are around 2.1 ohms, when I check them on my Vamo or Provari ... I run mine at around 4 volts in both my Vamo and my Provari ... read the heads resistance with you Vamo I think you will find they aren't even 1.8
