I just received my Stainless one a few minutes ago too... and I am glad I read this post. Looks kinda like chrome to me too...

Don't want to steal your thread, but a quick question to all... Is the middle part (Where you would use only 1 18350 bat) supposed to unscrew?

Thanks

I do not think so

So I am supposed to screw the bottom cap onto the middle extension and make it into a short single 18350 sized mod correct??? Mine will not screw in. Could it be that the threading on the bottom cap is messed up? if so why would it still work on the second extension tube and be able to be used in the 18650 bat size???

if you want to use it in 18350 mode take off the lower section and take off the bottom cap from that lower section..then screw the bottom cap to the fixed piece that cannot be unscrewed from the vamo..that top piece is press fit and has threading for either the bottom cap (18350 mode) or to take the threading of the lower extension (18650 mode)

That same thing happened to me, the bottom cam can screw on tube extension but not on main unit for 1x 18350 setup ,, i just grab the screw cap with a towel ond screw on applying pressure and wobling a bit, until i get it to screw on,, then i unscrew and screw a couple of time and now is working more smoothly,, seems like the threads on this device arevery rough,,

That is exactly what I thought... But there is something wrong with my cap...it will not screw into it. It feels like it is crossthreaded and wont go in. I guess I need to contact Exhale Vapors...

Thanks All

I also did with my nails i did kinda clean the threads, i was impressed that was dirty on there and like some machine left over,, play with it a bit,, you will get it to work

If all the threads are clean contact Exhale for an exchange. If the cap screws onto the 19650 extension it is likely the threads on the midsection are not right rather than it being an issue with the battery cap threads. Replacing a battery cap isn't a biggie but replacing the midsection requires major surgery.
