VAMO Stopped working. ..PLEASE HELP!!!

Ive been loving my VAMO for the month that ive had it. Tonight I swapped my t3 for my Boge f17 tank, and nothing, zero ziltch! I checked the ohm reading on my VAMO, and it read 0.0 ohm. So I investigated. The little rubber grommet that surrounds the point (where tank/clearo connects to VAMO) was raised. After many attempts, I cannot get it back into place. So I just removed it. Still no connection! I get the same 0.0 ohm reading with my boge tank, kanger t3, kanger t2, and iclear16. I am now panicking! : ( Any suggestions??? I really dont want to fork out the cash for a Provari, but I NEED consistency!

Again...over-tightening.
510-EGO, only tighten so as to achieve connection.

Like mf doom I only tighten until its snug. But if the center pin needs adjustment I use a paper clip to pry it up. Like tightning lug nuts on a wheel I work my way around the pin.
