That tank looks badass. I've been wondering about carto tanks; are they basically a carto inside a tank that's fed by the juice in the tank? What are the advantages/disadvantages of tankomizers (that's what they're called right?) over clearomizers? I've tried regular cartos and don't care for them compared to clearos. Mainly there were things all together missing in the flavor, and I swear I can taste the stuffing. Not that I've only used an eGo type regular battery and twist, and regular cartos and one top coil clearo, so it's not like I'm well traveled.

Sorry to sidetrack.

Carto tanks when properly set up are dead easy to use and just work. Clearo tanks whether top or bottom coil just can't keep up with my vape pace so I get dry hits (yuck!). Having the carto in a tank keeps the carto saturated so it lasts longer and no dry hits. I never have been a big taste guy so muted flavor never bothered me.

Thanks for all the using experiences. It helps to know what works good, and what doesn't. This will also help out New Vamo users when making decisions about devices.

That’s good news. Would these T3’s work?
Kanger T3 Tabac Bottom Coil Changeable 3mL eGo BCC Clearomizer [T3TABBC3MLCLEARO] - $5.99 :

Glad to know a T3 will screw all the way down WITHOUT needing an adaptor. Is there good Air Flowl? Just in case, I ordered the following:

510/EGO/EGO-T/EGO-C/CE4/CE5 E-cigarette/ Atomizer Convertor Adapter
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...oego-tego-cce4ce5-e-cigarette-atomizer-conver

EGO Battery Convertor Ring for 2.0mL ViVi Nova Atomizer
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1284506

EGO Battery Convertor Ring for 3.5mL ViVi Nova Atomizer
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1326405

When you use the Adapter with T3’s, do you notice any decreasing voltage? Does it affect the battery life?

Is this the Evod you’re talking about?
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...electronic-cigarettes-round-mouth-atomizer-15

This iClear 30 is Dual Core. I read the Dual Core DOES NOT work that good with Vamo. This could be a misconception though. But to confirm things, …it DOES work – right?
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...in-iclear-30-dual-coil-electronic-cigarette-r

Good deal on this Protank, so I ordered a couple.
Kanger Protank Clearomizer with Pyrex Glass Tank (2.5mL)
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1379600

Good idea. This iClear 16?
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...in-iclear-16-dual-coil-electronic-cigarette-r

I got this Vivi Nova.
VIVI NOVA Electronic Cigarette Atomizer with Coil Head for Ego-t/w/c/d/k/510/510-t/808d/808/v9 (3.5mL)
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1322401

Anyone have a link to a good Dripping device?

The issue right now with T3's is that Kanger has upgraded them to the T3S & MT3S for the metal task version. They are the same tank bodies, but the old style one piece head/coil assembly is replaced with a head and screw in/out coil like the Evod and Protank. This greatly reduces the price of replacing coils, that is if you're not recoiling/wicking them yourself. Check them out @ Kangertech's site and proceed according to your preference.

Some people don't taste the polyfill and some do. I'm one of the ones that can taste it and a carto tank doesn't improve the situation one little bit. Although very convenient carto tanks and clearos both mute flavor.

I have piles of juice delivery devices including RBAs and RDAs but, in my opinion, the HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer puts them all to shame. I don't think there is a better baseline than the HH.357 from which to judge other juice delivery devices. If you take care of your atty as described in Hanna's video on the HH.357 page it generally lasts at least a couple of months and often quite a lot longer.

If you find you like the taste and performance of dripping but want something more convenient you can get an AMP Tank if you want to stick with a VW tube mod. The AMP Tank is very expensive but it does provide performance that is identical—not close, but identical—to direct dripping. Another alternative would be to get a bottom feeder like a Vapage VMOD or Reo.

I have owned the Vamo V3 two days. I quickly fell in love with the kanger tabac t-3, using ego-t then the joyetech twist. I thought "what could be better than the twist?" The answer is the V3. Great hits and taste from start to finish. I had the vivi nova lying around and decided to try. I just don't get the same performance from the vivi as I do with the kanger. The vivi works well at lower watts, but the flavor is not there.
These Kangers work great! I rebuild the coils (30 builds under my belt). The T-3 works in the V3. It's said the T-3 won't thread onto the V2. I bought my V3 from vapor beast, who sent two clearomizers (look like a c4). They are non-rebuildables, worked better for me than the vivi.

Has anyone tried this New product at FT?

$7.57 X10 Protank Rebuildable Atomizer with DCT Tank (4.0ml) - black / 2.4

Description: "X10 atomizer with Largest volume and it's the New innovative design with colorful tank. Bottom changeable coil system design. No Burning Smell, No Leakage, No Crack. And life time of heating coil: 8000 times, compatible with all ego battery and mods with 510/ego thread."

Anyone? It looks like a Protank base. Does it accept Kanger Evod coils?

I would avoid the Vivi Nova knock offs all of them leaked on me the ones below I own and can verify work well on my Vamo and my SVD I also use the EVOD adapter/extender just to preserve the threading on my device (easy to replace adapter harder to re thread my device)

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1384000
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1389502 works great but has diff core than x9 and evod
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1384900 great and uses same core as EVOD
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1363500 use these for testing and shares same core as x9 which is my favorite at the moment

I also have the Kanger Protanks from fast tech and they are authentic but they actually leaked more than the cheaper x9 and had a very airy draw

$12.09 Kanger Protank Clearomizer with Pyrex Glass Tank (2.5mL) - silver / 2.5 < in stock version

I highly recommend. be sure to clean it well first to get rid of any manufacturing oils. Coils last a long while, cheap to order to replace, and 10x better if you can rebuild them yourself (I do a 30ga 10 wrap Kanthal microcoil at 1.8ohm with a cotton wick).

edit: I try to avoid plastic wherever I can

I came from carto tanks, but I tried and really wanted to like clearos. I've had some success with the Kanger BCC stuff. I just couldn't get past the occasional scratchy dry hit, leaking when upside down, flooding, muted flavor in some, etc. Too many variables for me.

I like the pocket friendliness, reliability, and overall hassle-free vape experience I get from carto tanks. I'm mostly a dripper, so this is my 'on the go' or my work setup.

With that said, here's what's currently atop my Vamo $7.47 Authentic X8 2.5ml Electronic Cigarette Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping For the price you can't beat them. They say it's Stainless Steel and from the weight of it, I would assume this to be true. The supplied carto is pretty bad, but stick a Boge or Smoktech in there and it performs great! Maybe I'm just old school

The X8 looks great. How long does each atomizer last before needing replaced?

What's the best way to 'Clean' them? I tried rinsing mine Protank out with very hot water, and using a toothbrush to gently brush away built up juice. Then did a dry burn. It still tasted like crap.

PM'd you about rebuilding.

I take apart and rinse everything out well with warm/hot water. Twirl up some thin slips of paper towel and dry everything out well. Tank is a bit tough to get the strip of paper towel, hence you need to twist up well. Wicks are short enough that I don't really bother much with them. Keep in mind that when you do a dry burn, lower the wattage considerably or you'll burn the wicks.

Just yesterday I accidently had the fire button pressed up against my coffee mug while carrying it. Ended up burning the wick badly. Every attempt to vape thereafter was horrible. Just replaced the head and all is good now.

One thing I have noticed with the protank is that the wicks when new don't taste that great. It takes a good half to full day for them to start wicking and tasting properly. Otherwise love the protank and the ease of use of it.

BTW, if you want your protank much quicker than waiting for it to arrive from china...aka fasttech, check out exhalevapors. Based in Austin and they weren't much more than FT. I think I paid around $14 for mine. Someone ordered from them a couple of days ago and got what looks like a new and improved version of the protank (not v2 that isn't out yet though).
