Ok, have had my Gunmetal Vamo V1 for a few months now. Here's some information that may be useful for the issue I'm having:

- I vape quite constantly throughout the day (even at at work). I can put down stacked 18350 IMR 800mah's in about 6 hours.
- I frequently switch flavors and use mostly 6ml carto tanks and boge cartos.
- I have an AGR tank that I think may be my problem.
- I carry about 7 tanks with me at all times, sometimes more. And one rebuildable dripping atty (for flavor testing).

Here's my issue:

The threading on my Vamo has been worn down (it seems)... even with new cartos, they just slide right in... no screwing in necessary. So... they don't hold. The battery connector is definitely not steel. It looks more like brass or copper.

About the only thing that makes a connection and holds tight on my Vamo is the bottom cap for the AGR tank.

I'm wondering two things:

1) Has anyone else had this problem with the worn down battery connector?
2) If so, has anyone found a fix? (I've found that using the bottom cap to the AGR and just leaving it on there works... for now...)

Please, email me back or reply post. I'd LOVE to know if this has been an issue with anyone else.

Thanks.

P.S. Other than this threading problem, this has been hands down an all-around (not specific aspects) better unit than even the Pro-Vari, when I had one. Good investment, if they can fix the battery connector problem.

I'm having the same problem with my SS Vamo V2. I've only had it about 6 weeks, but I also use it pretty hard, and for the past couple weeks I've only been vaping with AGA-T tanks. I'm guessing the harder SS of the AGAs is probably helping to wear away the soft metal of the connector. I just might pick up an AGR to use the base plate, or else I guess I'll be attempting to replace the connector some time soon.

I really do love this thing, but it's sort of a bummer that the connector isn't holding up. I know I'll manage to fix it when it does fail, but I'm going to assume many people would not be able to.
