I finally got my Vamo in today. I have been waiting about 2 weeks since I preordered it, but I got it for like 34 bucks or something. I'd have to say that I am shocked as to how well built this thing is. The weight and feeling in my hand is great. Now, I know why people complain about the way the Evic feels and its durability. I haven't dropped either of the PVs but if I had to bet, I would bet that the Vamo could take a car rolling over it. Reminds me of a Maglite or something its pretty amazing. I have yet to delve into the VW mode in either of the units, but that time shall come. As of now my brand new Evic will be sitting aside while I use this PV. Just my .02

I took it to my buddy's house to let him check it out, and he loved it. He wanted me to get him an Evic, but the coupon code that I had for deal was expired. So he was like, "order me one of those." I almost told him I'd sell him my Evic, and I was just gonna save up for a Provari but I didn't. I ended up just ordering him a Vamo as well.Good news is that since I did that for him, he bought me a Vivi Nova SVT black and 3 AW IMR 18350 batts.

Prolly just should have sold him the Evic.. ha

Edit: And BTW now I know what everyone was saying about the rattlesnake noise. I never got it till now!

Yea I watched Pbusardos review. I got up out of bed check my mail, then laid back in bed opened my vapemail and before I even used it I changed it into NO2 mode. Yes, it vapes likes like a dream. For the price, I'm sure it cant be beat. My evic was 2x the price and as of now, I feel more comfy using my Vamo. I just feel like I have to be so careful and meticulous with the Evic. Long story short, my Evic will stay safely at home, and ill probably carry my Vamp and 2x 18350 batteries everywhere. If I drop it/ scratch it up then I'll just buy a jwrap to cover the scars.

Read up and set the Vamo to VW Mode2 if you really want to enjoy it.
Running mode1 VV is like a runaway train

Ahh I must have read your post incorrectly. NO2 mode is the RMS mode correct? So in VW mode I should find a wattage that I enjoy, and then set it and forget about it. With a 2.8 ohm atomizer in the Vivi Nova what should I run probably 8.5 watts?

I have dropped (or it's been dropped....) several times now.. Today was the latest, while getting into my SUV, noise dived out of my pocket to the ground!!! Picked it up, wiped it off, made sure the drip tip I was using was clear and vaped away! The screen isn't that durable, it had a crack from the drop before which is now bigger.. but it works..

When I 1st got it, I had a County Sheriff ask what it was (worked with him- wasn't a pull over anything like that!!). I calmly told him it was the Latest ASP Baton with built-in Tazer and Smoke screen device and asked if he wanted a demonstration as I took a vape!!

any of you vamo users have a jwrap on yours yet? I really wanna see one done and hear some feedback about the application process. I would love to use them, thing is just a huge, heavy, slippery, awesome steam-machine, fingerprint magnet and i'm ocd haha.

Mine is black chrome, with a jwrap. Had no issues putting it on and it's held up pretty good, some damage to wrap after the last fall but it's holding it's own.
Wife's got a jwrap on hers also, no sign of wear and tear on it. Have had both for 2 months + now.
