Vamo V2 & carto tanks. How well do they work together?

I am waiting on my Vamo V2, but I am a big Boge carto tank guy, and I keep hearing how the Vamo doesnt work well with 510/ego connections? Something about maybe needing an adapter to make them work?

Anyone use a Vamo with carto tanks? Do you have any problems using them together?

I use carto tanks with my Vamo v2 every day. Works wonderfully.

Vamo has a regular 510 and ego connections. 510 devices go on with no problems whatsoever. Because the ego connection is a bit recessed SOME ego threaded devices really need an adapter for airflow or just plain space reasons.

I'm waiting on a Vamo V2 too. Thanks to your post, I just ordered an adapter for $2.00. Probably be nice to have either way.

I just leave my adapter on the vamo. Keeps me from stripping the threads on the vamo or pushing the pin in. After all if I trash the threads on the adapter its cheap to replace.

I actually use 2 different ones.

The airflow controller is the one I use most but it is only a 510. Helps with the airy draw on protanks and just looks nice with carto tanks Tank Airflow Controller

If you use a carto tank you don't need an adapter. It will work fine out of the box.

I use a Phiniac 5ml XL carto tank on my Vamo V2 day in and day out without a problem and don't use an adapter. As with any PV, just don't over-tighten the carto onto the Vamo or you could strip the threads. If you want to use an adapter then these should work fine:
