So I have a vamo v2 with a protank 1 when I put the protank on an ego twist I have no problem getting a hit. When I put it on the vamo I have to suck super hard to get a tiny hit. Anyone know why. Battery is fully charged at 4 v 6 watts

The protank is seating too deep into the 510 threads, which in turn is blocking the airholes on the 510 connector.
Its not uncommon on V2's and V3's, unfortunately theres not really a perfect fix, its a matter of playing around till you find a balance, but you should be able to make it better.
Option 1: Using PT beauty ring to raise/support the PT, allowing the holes to sit high enough to get a proper draw.
Option 2: Get an airflow controller to go in between the V2 and the PT (this option has been reported to both work and be ineffective)
Did your Protank come with the conical beauty ring?

are the heads in the protank generic ones from a place like fastech? The replacement heads I got from there didn't have the bottom "groove" cut as deeply or beveled like the original kanger heads.. (made for a very tight draw)..
I heard today that it is recommended to use a 510 to 510 adapter to save the Vamo's threading. Does any one know if this would also help with the tight draw?

There's probably something else going on - I wonder if something is up with the threads on the vamo, maybe the protank is being cranked down further than normal?
Have you tried just tightening the protank tight enough to get an Ohm reading from the vamo?
(just to the point where it stops displaying "9.9" ohms, and gives you an actual reading of the coils? (press and hold the little button on the right to get an ohm reading..)

Its hit and miss on the draw issue with both the v2 and v3's, usually its more prevalent with the PT2's from what ive seen, many times a PT 1 base will solve the problem, so this one would be considered kinda unusual.
There are reports of the airflow controllers both correcting the issue and also having no effect.
Protip: Actually read the responses/questions in your threads and respond to them.
I have quite a few PT 1's and rebuild them so PT2's may not even come into play. And the Vamo may very well be my secondary device I think I'll be OK
You'll be fine, 99% of the time you can remedy the issue by installing the PT 1 beauty ring and using it as a 'seat' to prevent the tank from screwing in too far, and also stabilizes the tank in the threads. The ring has the added benefit of helping to mask the gap left by running the tank a bit high.
I use hyper tanks n had a lil problem getting a good draw of it. So I just screw the tank on just until it stops then back it off about an 1/8 of a turn n it hits like a monster. My vamo v2 does this with every tank I have tried. Hope this helps
