Hey guys,
new vaper here especially to VV vaping. I just got my new vamo v2 with a efest 18650 imr battery and kanger protank. Can someone help me in regards to what voltage and watts I should have my vamo at to get the most out of my liquid as well if there is a way to check how much juice is left in my battery so I don't drain it and shorten the lifespan..

thank you

Hey Jyork,

First you want to set your Vamo V2 in RMS mode. You do this by holding down either one of the 2 small buttons above the bigger fire button for about 10 seconds. You will see the display change after about 3 seconds but you are not there yet. Keep holding that little button down. You should see the display change to "NO2". NO1 is a voltage averaging mode and NO2 is RMS mode and MUCH better, more consistent vape.

Once you have done that...holding the left small button down for about 3 seconds will show you your battery's current voltage. It will lower as you vape with a battery. Holding the right small button down for about 3 seconds will show you the resistance of your atomizer.

Another important change! Hold both small buttons down for about 10 seconds and you will change from volts to watts. You will see the little "V" in the display change to a "W". This means you are in a power setting mode rather than voltage setting mode. This is an easier mode to get a consistent vape in. Some people like the voltage mode but I don't care for it. I don't want to have to do the math to calculate volts I should set based on resistance of the atomizer. I just want to set watts (power) and forget it.

In power or watts mode, set it low and vape for a while. It changes in 0.5 watt increments. My preference (yours could be very different) is 7.5 watts. I vape sweet flavors. I don't vape any tabacco flavors. Most who vape tabacco flavors seem to set higher wattage the me. Work your way up slowly until you find the right setting for you and the flavor you are vaping.

Good luck and have fun!! I love my Vamo!

Didn't the VAMO come with instructions?
I don't know the button combination - but it can "read" the resistance of the coil in your ProTank for you.
That's going to determine what Volts to start at!
If it's a 2.4 ohm coil, you could start at 4 volts and adjust up or down until you're happy.
Or if you want to try VW, maybe start at 8 watts - and again, adjust up or down - with VW you can do that regardless of what coil the ProTank has in it - that's the POINT of VW, is that if you know you like 8 Watts, you can set it at 8 Watts, and the VAMO will adjust the voltage as needed to stay there.

Hope that makes sense.

I'm still playing with my new VV/VW mod. ALMOST got a VAMO, but I got an SVD instead (and I still have to look at the instructions or the little inscriptions on it to remember "how do I switch to VW?" or "how do I check my coil?").
