I just scored a vamo v3 with a kpt2 for 20$. I've got plenty if 18650 batteries I use in my vtr but I need to order some 18350 for the vamo. I plan on running 2 18350's and need a good recomendation. The vamo only goes down to 1.2 ohms as per the specs so no sub ohming to worry about. Also do I need flat top or button top batteries.

Thanks
Garrett

So let me ask you why would you stack two 18350 batteries instead of using one 18650 battery in a regulated variable voltage mod?

Stacking batteries is not adviseable.

There was once a time and place to stack batteries in a mechanical mod in order to achieve higher voltage, back before variable voltage mods were available. But since your Vamo makes its own higher voltage with an electronic processor, why stack batteries and expose yourself to the added risks of stacking batteries? You will not gain battery time by stacking batteries in a regulated mod, mAhs don't stack. You'll still only have the 700 mah or so of a single 18350 battery, as opposed to the 2000 mah of a 18650 battery.

Well the vamo v3 is shipped with the extension tube for 2 18350 and it comes with 2 18350 from most vendors too, so I don't think stacking them is dangerous or they wouldn't ship it that way new.
For one I'd like to have the ability to make it smaller with one 18350 and plus I've read of some really long vape times with 2 18350's

That same tube works with a single 18650 also.

You will not get longer Vape time with 2 18350 batteries vs. a single 18650.

Stacked 18350 batteries will provide double the voltage but not double the amp rating or mAh.

Stacked 18350 batteries will allow the vamo to provide 15w of power with high resistance coils (3 ohms or higher).

Using stacked 18350s with standard resistance clearomizers will provide no benefit.

The extension tube is to use a single 18650 battery in the Vamo.

You don't think stacking batteries is dangerous? Every publication on battery safety cautions against stacking batteries. Google stacking batteries if you don't believe me. And you don't believe that a vendor would include an unsafe battery in a starter kit? Chinese vendors don't care about your safety; I've seen them include un-protected ICR Li-ion batteries in starter kits -- batteries which should never ever be used in mods.

As stated by myself and anumber1, you'll see very little benefit to stacking two 18350 batteries in a regulated mod. You will not get more battery time, but less battery time than using a single 18650 battery.

Stacking Batteries <--- did you read this link?
