I agree with you Rabbit. Id like that alot! Id buy five if they had a nicely engraved chinese dragon style in a caravela body like that.

um... that vamo design is horrible. So bad it makes the tesla look pretty by comparison. Sad.

Hopefully when the tesla v2 comes out they'll move the control buttons below the screen, make the battery not show, make the top flat, and not have such deep ridges in it.

UMMMMM,AHHHH... OK... REALLY? I saw that thing rolling out so I bought one more Gun Metal Vamo before they all disappear and get replaced with that thing. I guess no real product testing went on with people that buy and or use the product when they came up with that thing, maybe they should just call it that... "The Thing."

Maybe it's a trick to sell more v2's... everyone that's worried they will faze out the v2 for this ugly v3 will run out and buy more before their gone.

Was there anything wrong with the minimalistic look of v1-2? Only thing they could improve is make the 510 connector sturdier(Ohm error) and maybe move the power button up for mini mode.

Agreed!
I like the V2's look, but wish they could shrink the chipset to make it shorter.

Might as well throw the pic up, don't think Joe will mind, it's got his site address on it. Only site I've actually seen the picture on... makes me wonder how real this thing is.

I guess if it's still really cheap I'd get one to try out the new screen. But I'd have to throw a jwrap over it to cover up the ugliness.

What's a jwrap? I'm gonna put some Tournagrip on the SS V2 I got yesterday, not to cover the beautiful finish of the metal but to make it "grippy". This thing is dang slippery. Wouldn't mind if it had some grooves like that V3!

I would imagine that the reason they put the grooves on the version 3 is because almost everyone has complained about the device being slippery. I can see that I'm in the minority, but I love the looks of the new Vamo. I'm holding out until the new version comes out because I think it's pretty cool looking.

*bc ducks before anything can be thrown at him...

Jwraps is a company that makes "skins" for APV's. There basically a pre cut vinyl sticker. There's a couple company's that make them, think the other one is called vapor skinz or something like that.

Here's my jwraped vamo.

Here's what I just did with my SS Vamo V2, since I absolutely could not stand the slipperiness any more. I used the fourth and fifth finger of a disposable glove. Makes all the difference in the world grip-wise. I have SS Vision Spinners too, but no such problem with them because of the smaller diameter and lower weight. I'm pretty sure the Spinners have a less polished, less slippery surface too.

Pretty inventive there. To bad the SS it's so slippery, I was hoping it wouldn't be. The one I wrapped is a chrome one, which is horrible for slipping. I've got a SS one I'm keeping stored away for when my chrome dies.

Thanks. Many years ago I worked in a metal fabrication shop where a good amount of my time was spent putting a fine finish on stainless steel tubing that was delivered pre-fabrication with a mill (dull) finish.

I'm thinking of applying my skills in reverse to roughen the finish on the battery tube pieces of my Vamo to make it much less slippery. The body sure is solid, though... can't complain about that. In the meantime, if I've got to cut up a glove every week or so to make a grippable surface, I'll consider it a reasonable solution. A balloon might also make a good glove for the Vamo. The mod sure does produce a great vape.
