hey all, i've got the vamo V5 but it has an ohm resistor of between 1.2 and 5 ohms which is useless for rebuild-able atomisers (rda). Does anyone know if it's possible to lower the Ohm resistor manually or something otherwise i'm kind of restricted in my builds?

All regulated mods have a minimum resistance they will fire. Most won't go down too much below 1 ohm. If you are wanting to go down to, say, .5, you WILL have to go mechanical. I am not sure what the vamo's lower limit is as I never had one, but had others, and I was limited to around .8 at the lowest.
What you're calling the "Ohm resistor" is actually the "ohm limits" of the device.
You can't change this (not easily at any rate).
This doesn't make it useless for rda's, (or rba's) you can certainly coil an rda at 1.5 ohms or above.

cheers both i'm only getting into my rda's and mods the gentleman that i bought the paradigm magma had his atomiser reading at 0.4/0.5 ohms and was producing loads of vape compared to mine which reads at 1.7/1.8ohm just a bit of a let down really. i have a 9 wrap dual coil set-up, guess i just need to keep practising.
