hi all first time review from a newb point of view. i own two of each model have used the vamos for 2-1/2 and the svds for around 1-1/2 weeks. both with protanks and protanks 2 and 18650 efest IMR.

first up the vamo v5
initial reaction was wow shiny not much of a learning curve very easy to use for a newb has not failed me once .. yet.
pros
cheap honestly the most bang for the buck i have found .
easy to use 2 minutes for reading the manual and boom .
screen very nicely done easy to read and understand.
battery life .
cons
battery spring not secured can fall out when changing batteries.
the black chrome one color is spotty the chrome on is fine.
this might just be me but power level does not seem totally accurate but remember i am a newb so this one is a toss up.

i like the vamo for the price it can't be beat works well easy to use although i would not beat on it to much .does seem to burn most of my juices if i go above 6.5w even at 6.5 some taste a bit off again this might just be me as i am very new to vaping.
other than that i would recommend to anyone looking to try vaping and sure if this will "work" for you and do not want to or cant spend alot of money.

next up the itaste svd.
intial reaction nice looking device the threads seem smooth read the manual also easy to understand and use.

pros
build quality seems to be very good unit is solid.
the fact that it is telescoping easy to use what ever size battery you have handy.
air draw is way tighter than the vamo.

cons
screen very blocky not as easy to read for a newb as the vamo screen.
air draw i know i listed this as a pro but after going to this from a vamo it took some getting used to the tight draw.
one of the two units bottom battery spring assembly was not in the base had to pull from tube with a pick and re-assemble .

after getting used to the tight draw the vape from this was simply better tasting even up to 7.5w have not gone any higher and do not see a need to also the unit itself feels better in the hand and the styling and material seem way more robust than the vamo.battery life is every bit as good as the vamo.

bottom line if i had to choose only one i would choose the ..

itaste svd with tighter smoother better tasting draw stylish design, flexibility for battery usage better build quality not to mention great battery life and the power button glows to give you a visual indicator of battery life it is just a very nice unit easy enough for the newb and rugged enough to get the job done . for a $10 difference in price wish i would have got this first.
