I don't think anyone has "fooled themselves" Thrasher. I'm not seeing what you're saying reflected on the forum. I'm not seeing some of the other really quite silly things that have been said about vw by some vv vapers either. Most Vamo users prefer the vw setting - its more convenient. Let it be what it is - a convenient way to vape. You don't need to be using several attachments to get the benefit of it either.
Just try it if its on your pv and find out for yourself.

after i adjust the setting either in vv or vw i dont touch it, so i dont see how it makes a difference.

right here:

I have, i just dont see the benefit. adjusting anything means it doesnt matter what i use.pressing a button and making an adjustment is the same in either setting. where is the convienence? lol

i prefer not to argue , it is just my opinion to a post. I just dont see whats supposed to be different. every device i use may need to be adjusted somewhat for the sweet spot so what is the supposed difference?

as with all the VV devices being sold 100's of other dont see it as well. I still contend (and this is still just my opinion) that VW was added more as a selling point feature because they could add it so they did.
if i use the same device all day what am i gaining (yes i have a vamo)

i will be fair and add that since i use rebuildables i pretty much know exactly the resistance i need to make that device work the way i want on the voltage setting i use and the few times i switch i dont need to adjust anything.
thinking about it now in real world usage i have taken the work from the VW setting and decided to tune the device not the APV.
so i guess i dont understand its intended usage as its meaningless for me and my way of doing things. but if others perceive some tangible benefit from using one setting over another so be it maybe its somewhat different for static resistance devices like clearos, dunno.. but i firmly believe to each his own :)

Like I said, its more convenient. If it isn't for you then fine, but many people prefer it. That's all I was saying really. The arguments against it are getting old and are always from the same few people. Many people like using vw and do find it more convenient - I do. It is set and forget sometimes - which I've just underlined because the little anti-vw group love to misrepresent that. I prefer not to argue too - but when you say things like people having fooled themselves I will respond. We're not stupid - we know its a power setting and other factors contribute to how a vape tastes.

depending on the flavor you have. I am vaping cinnamon red hot, and i am using the wattage setting on the NO2 at 13.5w on a 2.5 ohm carto. love the flavor that 13.5w produces

Whoa. You are a much tougher TexasMan than I am a TexasWoman. My all-day vape is the Cinnamon Red Hots, and I can't imagine EVER being able to get up to 13.5w. In my VV days, I was maxing out at 4.7v before not being able to handle it (doing good at about 7.5-8w... tried your 13.5, and it definitely tastes burnt on a 2.5ohm carto). LOL!! What vendor do you use, and which PG/VG mix? I am enthralled with this flavor by MyFreedomSmokes.com in a 60/40 mix at 12mg. :)

The majority of us much PREFER not having a single button menu set-up which would require us to remember # of clicks to perform a function.

Maybe I didn't state what I meant accurately. What I meant is - I wish the first click of the + or - button wouldn't actually change the setting - Instead, I would like to see what I'm on first, rather than it immediately adjusting the volts/watts up or down (I once accidentally clicked the button after changing the battery in VV mode, and it set at 6v, which immediately burnt out my clearo - not using those much anymore with the Vamo). I love the ease of use of the VAMO menus, without all the multiple clicks of say, the evic or the maxs, if I'm remembering pbusardo's videos correctly. :D LOL!

Another vote for VW, I just switched the other day and love not having to check my ohm's first. I've been switching between a few evods with liquids I'm trying to decide if I like or not, 2 are 1.8 and the others are 2.2 or 2.5? Few times on VV I forgot to turned down the volts when switching back to 1.8ohms, no worries with that on the VW, I ussually keep mine between 7.0 to 8.0 personally.
