Received my vamo yesterday...been chain vaping ever since.

I was contemplating the evic, but when i held it in my hands it felt "cheap" and flimsy. Loved the features though (although quite useless imho) but at the end of the day I chose the vamo for its built and usable features. I like the ohm checker since i coil my own wicks.

go vamo! hehee.. i got one, polished it to a brushed steel look. contemplating to buy evic since it also has an option for 18350 batt now and new colors for the newest version. but then its kind of gadgety hehee..i dont really need the software (does anyone really need a puff counter?) and its quite light without batt. then looked at the vamo and whoaa..lightsaber :) feels heavy and sturdy and its more user friendly..volt, watt, ohm, batt volt (and "hidden" rms feature)..thats all u need...

bu tthen again, i'm in love with mech mod n dripper hehehh..so vamo is only for if i have to use tanks for long drives etc...

look out for new 2013 vamo..now with oled screen and new body design (dimensions still same as the old one).

Is it the one? New body design? I saw it from the other thread...

A guy has asked, "Just What Were the Chinese Thinking?". Do you know what he means? :D...

Another said, "Ewwww nasty looking, but not self lubricating, lol"...

Anyway, this one is not from original manufacturer, Shenzhen Kangside Technology. Original one is from Shenzhen RainbowHeaven Technology.

First look was "euwww"...but the longer i look at it...seems not that bad, kinda grows on you. I heard this V3 does not cater for 18350 batt. That is a turn off rather than the looks.

Yeah! You're right, I just notice that! I don't see it can be apart at the lower part... hmm.

I wonder if they had improved the display on this zmax. That was the only issue i had with the previous zmax. While you're in Papa dont smoke do also check out the itaste SVD. Good package there me thinks.

Yeah i tried out a mates svd it's pretty good =) big though.

I looked at the evic and vamo side by side....two mods that are both vv and vw. Both take the same batteries. Seems to me that for more money I can get a clock or something on the screen and know how kany puffs I took along with a tapered top instead of a flat top. I went with the vamo for a big $ savings and it looks better with every atty on it. But I think its the difference between people that like mods like the provari and evic and people that like mechanical looking mods. Anyway ive heard great things about the evic. I just didnt need all that stuff.

Yeah seems like more prefer the vamo but for me having the ohm/volt/watt/battery life in 1 screen is awesome =)

It's either here somewhere in ECF or in one of PBusardo's videos I got to know the Vamo fires a more accurate voltage over the evic for given settings. There's also a German language comparison between the Vamo and Zmax. Both outputs virtually identical voltages.

Vamo like the Zmax has a 33.33Hz PWM, whereas the Provari is 111.11Hz if I recall correctly. What this means is the Provari's RMS voltage is more closer to the desired voltage setting.

From personal testing of VAMO and eVic .. same tank when fitted on VAMO works better than eVic .. so I tried 2 different tanks each with different liquid on both of them and VAMO worked far more better on each of those tank (one of them is dripper tank) .. anyways my point is after using both devices for almost a month I find myself using the VAMO more often and eVic now sits at home most of the time. What that proved is, it is not necessary how cool the screen looks.. it is necessary how accurate voltage or watts it provides.
