Hi, wondering if i should buy a second lavatube or a silver bullet, any advice would be appreciated

A Vamo and a Silver Bullet are two different mods. The Vamo has electrical circuitry and provides variable voltage, variable wattage, and ohms check and a batterty voltage check. It can be used in 18350 or 18650 mode, and has a 510 connection with recessed ego threading.
It won't fit T3s unless you use a 510-ego adapter, but will take other ego threaded "stardust" type clearos.
The Silver Bullet is a mechanical mod. You get the voltage of the battery you're using, unless you buy a kick and add it for variable wattage - which is about another $50. You would also need an adapter for ego threaded attachments.
Both good mods but both quite different to each other.

Also, what 'Lavatube' are you talking here? The original Volcano Lavatubes, or the various rebranded versions (Lambo, L-Rider, etc). If the rebranded versions/version 1 of the Volcano; without a doubt go with the Vamo. Much better circuitry, better functionality. If its the Lavatube V2 vs the Vamo -- thats a bit tougher... largely comes down to aesthetics.

The lavatube V2 is a good mod. It doesn't have variable wattage, which the Vamo does.

Just my 2cents .... I would go with the Vamo for a few reasons.
1) Variable Voltage & Variable Wattage
2) You can have a 3 different configurations of the size of the mod using different batteries
3) Price

pbusardo does an excellent Vamo review and there are some comparisons to the Lavatube V2 A PBusardo Review - The Vamo - YouTube

One thing the Lavatube V2 has that the Vamo does not is...

A 1 year warranty from Volcano

All the variable wattage circuitry in the world isn't going to be worth a hill of beans 6 months from now if your Vamo decides to take a poop on you... But you can send a busted Lavatube back to Volcano and they'll send you back a new one...

IMO, that is better than any feature you can slap on a Vamo...

As someone who has tried both the rebranded lavatube-clone V1 and the more current V2, I actually PREFER the V1 visually and shape-wise, and it seems to give me less hassles than the V2 does (the V2 I've got is finicky). I haven't tried the Vamo, although I'm eyeing picking up one later this year just for variety's sake.
