Vamo with RBA reads the Ohms lower than they actually are!

Yes a multimeter but I also accounted for the multi meters resistance in the probes by touching the probes together and subtracting the difference. I don't think a 5/6 wrap with 30 gauge kanthal should read 1.6 ohms. Could be wrong though.

Then maybe it's just your Vamo?
Mine reads spot on in either 18650 mode or single 18350 mode. In stacked 18350 mode mine reads 0.1ohm too high, but that is a common issue and is easy to just subtract 0.1ohm.

I checked my Vamo against my fluke multimeter by the way and both are exactly the same. Fluke is an extremely accurate multimeter in case you don't know.

Hmmm thanks. I've heard mention of the large o-ring surrounding the positive post in the vamo could play a part. I think their are quite a few people who have had this issue. Was hoping to hear from some of them.

It sucks you are having problems with yours. I don't know where you bought it from or when or what version it is, but maybe send them an email and see if you could exchange it?

I have found that factory ohm values are almost never what they are marked by the way, just saying. I bought 10 clearomizers in one order before and only 2 of them were what they were marked, the rest varied wildly.

I have a fluke as well. I also have a cheap multimeter. But after some testing tonight everything seems to actually be on point. I don't why they all seemed off last night when I was checking them. I have a feeling that I might have been sent 32 gauge kanthal instead of 30, it just seemed like too many wraps to be coming up with such low resistance. Either way looks like I spoke too soon.
