I've been reading reviews, comparing prices and what not of these 3 mods for a fair part of the day and I'm undecided as to which one I want. Sure, my ego batteries work well and all, but I am a fancy man who deserves fancy things(that I can afford at the moment)!
I see they all have minor pros and cons, none seem too awful but any help in a direction of these reasonably priced mods would be crazy appreciated.

I have a SiD. Love it!

Do what I did, find a brick and mortar that has all them, and go play with them. Get a feel for how they fit in your hand, how the buttons are for you, and how the menus and such work. They're all essentially the same thing, with minor bells and whistles for marketing and branding. I did a lot of research on them, before I pulled the trigger - which is funny, because for anything else, a $50 purchase is NOTHING. You don't want to see my ebook collection! :)

Knowing me, I'll probably end up with all 3 eventually, anyway.

Oh, if it were me, If I were buying a Sigelei, I'd get the Sigelei V3 telescopic.

so the zmax v3 seems to be the winner thus far. which is awesome since i just found a sweet deal. unit + batteries + charger for $48. i'll eventually get quality batteries and a charger, but for now it all looks pretty good.
edit: which is OF COURSE out of stock, but this place has an evic for 70?!?! hmmmmmm
edit again: i'm a dope who missed that this place requires a $700 minimum order for first time customers since they're a wholesaler.

Careful with the batteries, i bought a "deal" kit for my SiD, and the batteries were ICR's, which are not recommended.

Baditude has a great blog on this issue:

Grats on the decision - honestly, I think most people would be happy with any of them. :)

Could you give a link to the deal? Other people might want to jump on that!

All of them are about the same. I have an 8 month old VAMO that is still working fine. The VAMO also has up+down buttons and a fire button, compared to the single button operation on the others. Once upon a time it was shiny gun metal, now it looks like puke, but it works. So just a warning on those finishes, it would be wise to just go for stainless steel.

I would actually suggest one you haven't looked into on you list, it might be the sturdiest of them all in the same category, and that would be the itaste SVD. Same price range, and they generally build decent stuff. I've seen/held one, and it was definitely more solid than my VAMO was. It does have the solitary button menu thing going on though, which I am not a fan of.

Out of the mods you mentioned, I own the VAMO and SID. I've owned the SID for about a year now and have never had any issues with it; it even outlasted my eVic. Sure it looks and maybe even feels kind of cheap but it works and it's reliable. I find the SID to be a nicer mod than the VAMO.

That being said, I think you should get an Innokin MVP 2.0 for your first mod. It has a built in battery and pass through capabilities (much less fuss than swapping batteries out, not mention you won't actually have to buy batteries or a charger).

i don't really like the box style of the mvp though i've never heard anything bad about them.

For a box mod it is small! I absolutely love mine!
