Does anyone know where I can buy things like Pyrex graduated cylinders for measuring, glass pipette for stirring, etc? I'm getting a bit tired of using syringes for DIY and having the markings rub off.

The Yellow Pages shows several listings for lab supply places but they all seem to be wholesalers - if I wanted to buy a box of graduated cylinders they would hook me up but I only want one or two :(

In a pinch go to shoppers drug mart and pick up the needeless deals for infant medicine, the ones that come with the pyramid stopper, saw a post about em on the DIY forum and it's the sweetest way ever to measure the nic and dilutants (pg/vg).

The stuff from these guys also looks awesome haven't gotten the flow for em yet but definitely on the want list, based in denver so not too far to ship.

I found a place in a langley mall selling stuff like that for school projects. I needed good measurements when I was a race director and I had to check fuel amounts in the rc cars. I ended up using a fish pump to pump air into the system and push fuel out into a graduated cylinder to measure. I'll see if I can find the place again but it's not far from you

Found a promising one at Measuring Cylinders: Accurate Lab Glassware for Fluid Measuring - prices are half of those at prolabscientific.com - but now the postal strike is upon us! Quite irritating, don't want to pay $25 for Fedex shipping..

That's a good idea about the clear tape, I hadn't thought of that! I'll have to give that a whirl, down to my last two syringes here :/

Good link I am almost out of dissection kits: anatomy, zoology LOL where is the cat ?
this one is good too Molymod parts: atoms, bonds, orbitals oh wait it is atoms, bonds, orbials and not atombombs and orbitals :)
