Hi everybody,

I've been using the aforementioned RTA for the past couple of weeks and I have to admit that I kind of love it. At this point I can't really see myself not using mesh again. However, this particular tank has been giving me two main issues which I can't seem to resolve on my own, thus I'm hoping one of you can.

#1 When vaping consecutively (not even chain vaping) the tank gets really really frikking hot and I gotta say I don't appreciate it. Is this due to the mesh being this close to the inner chamber or am I doing something wrong? Additionally it seems like the more I vape, the less vapor I get. It's odd.

#2 After refilling the tank from the top through the intended hole it seems like the entire tank is drowing in juice, so I keep have to a) turn the tank upside down so that the dispensable juice can run out the top and b) have to blow into the mouth piece so that some additional juice can run out the airflow holes. Afterwards I need to let it sit for a half an hour before I can properly use it.

Attached is a picture of my wicking. I wanna say it's wicked nicely and the way it should be wicked.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

I would think that this one would get quite warm looking at the build. I'm not terribly familiar with this atty nor using mesh for the matter if I'm honest. So unless mesh is the opposite of your standard coil I wont be of much help.

If your tank is flooding then I would assume your using too little wick and letting too much juice in. If your vaping and you get less vapor and more heat then it seems to me that you're running the wick dry. With both of these issues present I would say use a touch more cotton, just a tiny tiny bit more and lower your power so it can keep up with the wicking.

As I've said I cannot be positive with this but maybe worth a shot.

I love mesh tanks but have never used a vertical mesh tank. My guess is the diameter of your coil is too big making it too close to the cap causing heat problems.
If you want good mesh tanks the digiflavor mesh pro and Wotofo profile are both stellar examples. I have and use both but they are horizontal rather than vertical like yours. The mesh pro is better if you like lots of airflow and the Wotofo profile is better for a restricted hit. Both tanks can do both though if you open the profile or close the mesh pro. Good luck with yours and if you want to try more mesh pick up the attys I suggested.
