I vape a lot of custard/vanilla type juices. CAP Vanilla Custard V1 is my goto standalone @ 10%. I use V1 or V2 in mixes with no difference of note. Just about any fruit is a good addition to change it up a bit. Another favorite standalone is FW French Vanilla @ the same percentage. Putting them together is amazing... :D

Same here re: V1 and V2. Not a huge difference to me.

My current recipe for straight vanilla is basic....

Capella's Vanilla Custard - 10%
Flavour West Graham Cracker - 1%
Lorann Cotton Candy - 2%

Might try adding 1-2% of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream to the next batch....

just mixed this up, pretty tasty as SnV. Got it soaking in a crock pot on the warm setting for a few hours now along with another recipe I made to try and speed it up a bit.

....
My variation of your recipe turned out so good after 2 weeks I already made up a 100ml batch and can't wait for it to steep.

10.00% Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP)
2.00% Ethyl Maltol (NN)
2.00% Graham Cracker DX (TFA)

All my big bottles are in use, so I just made 2 30mls.

Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP) 10%
Graham Cracker (CAP) 2%
Sweetner (Sucralose) 1.5%

Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP) 10%
Graham Cracker (CAP) 1.5%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (CAP) 2%
Sweetner (Sucralose) 1.5%

Let us know if the VB IC adds anyrhing good or otherwise.

I have sweetener but don't use it often. I should try replacing the cotton candy with it to see if there is a difference....

hehe, I have a 120ml sweetener bottle that will last me multiple lifetimes. I didn't realize how little was used in most recipes when I placed my first flavoring order. I need to find someone that needs some that I can PIF some of this bottle to.

Will do, I'll give it a try in a week or so & report back. I've never used CC so I don't have a clue. I like sucralose sweetener better than EM... :)

I've just mixed up a small batch of your recipe above, and a quick test puff indicates it will be very good with a week or two of steeping.
Thanks for sharing :)

I started focusing on SIMPLE recipes (just posted my 2 flavour grape candy) after getting sick of trying to recreate popular juice that contain sometimes a dozen different flavours. I mean, do I really want to measure out 0.1ml of 3 different vanillas for a single 30ml bottle? No thanks. :p

I love vanilla custard and have been playing around with a simple recipe that tastes as good or better than $20 stuff. After a few crappy batches, I think I nailed a great (to me) vanilla custard. It isn't to heavy, so I am liking it for an ADV.

60VG/40PG @ 6mg.

Capella's Vanilla Custard v1 - 10%
Capella's Butter - 0.2%
Flavour West Graham Cracker - 2%
Lorann Cotton Candy - 2%

I mixed up 100ml today and it tastes great right away. I expect it will get better after 3-4 weeks as I find most of my DIYs that contain Capella's vanilla custard does.

The butter may be unnecessary and most people will likely prefer the recipe without it.

Let me know your thoughts!

Hi. I would love to try this out and I'm quite new to this DIY juice thing. As Nicotine is banned here in Singapore. But VG and PG are available as well as Flavourings.

How would the recipe differ from a 0mg Nicotine version? Can I just omit it totally when I input in the ejuice calculators online?

yep that will work just fine. The taste really won't change at all.
