Vapage XL not firing

Have a bit of a problem that needs help please.

Think that the first atty I tried on my XL was shorted. Certainly have a burned my thumb.

I tried an atty I was using on another mod and a different battery but it won't fire.

Before I proceed what checks should I do ?

If you have a volt meter, check your atty & battery. the protection on the battery may have tripped if there was a short. If thats a Vmod xl, check the switch too, might have rotated to off. Also take the vmod apart, the bat spring could have collapsed, too

I left it at home and went to work.

Can confirm that the spring battery collapsed.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this ?

Have a word with vapage mate they may sell you the spring seperately if you are confident enough to fix yourself or repair the mod for a price

Been playing with it as I have been waiting for the Provari Mini comes on line and have seemed to have fixed it.

So all good. Have blown another atty but eh that is the way it rolls.

My word for 3.7 with a 1.5 atty it chugs out vapor.

Going to have to wait for the 357 or 106 for a few weeks as above in the next 15 minutes would have bought the XL and 2 Provari's so ..... better calm down lol

In theory yes... in practice they have their naughty tricks (and they will quote you all their fine print once you contact them with the instructions for warranty)... I just got ripped off with a VMOD XL, that stopped working after 3 weeks...

They also say they accept returns in 14 days, but in practice, they give you the refund only in credit store (not money back), deducted by 15% of "restocking fee", and you have to pay to ship the vapage stuff back... at the end of the day you realize that is better to save yourself the trouble...

I can't give a good review of Vapage products or customer service anywhere after spending around 500 dollars there. Great vape for a while and it doesn't drip (someone there realized that rubber stops leaks - fantastic, and more power produces vapor), but all components are cheap chinese trash, from batteries, attys, chargers, that fail briefly or never work from the beginning... and customer service is just there to advise you to spare your time and money to get a repair or refund... because they make sure it is not worth it...
