Welcome! Don't torture yourself about having to quit all at once nor should you feel guilty about smoking a death stick from time to time. Given enough time, vaping will work for you.

What MG ejuice are you using? A lot of people have a tank or two of higher MG liquid to get over that morning or after a meal hump. Say if your normal liquid was 18, fill a tank with 24 MG of the same flavor and keep it handy for that just getting out of bed or getting up from the table vape. It will pass after a while.

I am currently smoke 6mg juice. Mouth to lung hit. Its very hard here to find anything stronger than that. I may need to venture into making my own juice for something above 6mg.

You can be proud of yourself for any progress in quiting the stinkers.

I quit analogs for 8 months, went back to 2 packs a day for a year, now I haven't had a cig in a little over 4 months.
As long as the equipment is running good ( clean coils and wicks, charged batteries, a unit and tank that fires up when needed ) I've found little desire to light up.

I'm still making cigs for the wife ( she has a hard time with vaping ), I make about a carton a week and think about lighting up as I'm making them but I'll reach for the Sub-Box or Elief and injoy a sweet, bakery tasting vape. ((( Any day of the week )))

    Keep up the right attitude.

Sure. Addiction, you know... Withdrawal... Vaping makes it easier, but does not eliminate completely.

nah, there are lots of folks on here who have quit without having to torture themselves or feel guilty about having a cigg from time to time. Everyone's a bit different when it comes to cigg addiction... Amount smoked, how long, how neurotic, genetic factors, how much vaping satisfies them etc...

I completely agree with you. For myself it was seamless, I just know that's a common remedy around here for those two situations.

yeah my poor ole brother had a heck of a time even with the help of vaping and some nice vape gear...... Others don't seem to have it so tough........... Too many variables I suppose.

Worked very well for me. Some days had to hit the vape a little harder or for more time... I also kept reminding myself how bad analogs are for you and things around you.

If your goal to be just happy any minute, you cannot quit smoking. If your goal is to quit smoking do not expect to be happy for quite a few days. I am out of cigarettes for 1.5 years, and still dreaming about a cigarette after drink.

well put traveler... and cigarette dreams are the worst! I get up and smell just to make sure hahaha

You saying he should torture himself?

Isn't he physically torturing himself by using an analog? IMO mental is better than physical but hey, maybe I am mental

Well, Istarted Vaping, with the atitude of, If I like vape I MIGHT try to quit smoking...... The one thing I did toward quitting was, Instead of cigarettes in my pocket, I carried the Vape instead. Since I only smoke outside at home and most other places, that wasn't difficult. Then six months later I was sitting, on the patio in my smoking chair. I noticed I had not had a cigarette or bought cigarettes in weeks... So I grabbed the pack sitting there and tried one..... Was like being 10 years old again.. Tasted like crap mixed with an ashtray. Huh, I guess I quit smoking, Huh. Well It's been 1 year of vaping. Now I do on occasion habitually grab the wife's pack. But I always catch myself and put it down and pick up the Vape, instead.

I know I am mental so maybe we can join forces :) It's all a matter of perspective...... Yes we were killing ourselves smoking, but giving up them buggers can be real tough for some folks but easier for others.
