8 years this year for me. I was a 2 PAD smoker. When I started vaping I smoked a few cigs, with coffee and after meals, the first year, but gave them up when I realized that vaping was going to cure the tobacco addiction. Vaping made giving up cigs easier than I expected. I could have stopped smoking the first month I vaped, but didn't realize it. At the end of the first year I stopped cold turkey and never went back. No withdrawal symptoms at all as long as I had my 24mg/ml vape.

After 33 years of Marlboro reds vaping saved me also. I still can't believe it's been 8 years. The thing that started it all was a Blu cig-a- like. Don't use any more though because of mods that can push the power out.
DIY'ing also helped as I did not have to work out buying juice every week either. That is where the savings come in to buy a mod every now and then.

I started vaping with a Joye 510. It was a cigarette like vape pen where the filter pulled off and you dripped into the cotton inside, then pushed it onto the part that contained a small battery and atomizer combo. Assemble, it looked like a black filter cigarette.

I remember them too. Some were using tea bags to wick them with. Also, the stacked 6 volt mods that stacked two 14340 batteries or was it 16340 ? I still have a 6 volt mod around here some where.

Never thought anything could get me off cigarettes that is,until vaping. Time to pick up a new mod for just around the house but not sure what I want? Eight years I still can't believe it.

Bravo. Metoo, 5 yrs in after 47 smoking. Vape it all but love the mech's.

Enjoy the vape. Good luck. :)

Congrats! I started with Blu too. It was barely enough but it opened my eyes to the possibilities. I was lucky to find ECF when I started searching for a better solution.

You're an inspiration to us all as a long term success story. Thank you!
