I have a particular application that needs the atomizer / vape system to work while reclining. Thus the cig would be held pointing to the sky (somewhat). Seems like a BCC would become dry. Seems like a top coil would become flooded. Needs at least a small tank as it cannot be filled often. Any method for putting long wicks on a BCC? Suggestions?

If you keep turning it right side up after every vape you'll be OK. Trust me, I vape my ProTank in bed all the time.

The particular problem is that the supply has to be large (i.e. a tank) and it can't be moved (i.e. tipped back and forth), has to rely on the wick doing its job. A backward bottom tank sounds like the right thing, i.e. the coil stays below the fluid but the vapor taken out of the bottom (with some clever mod for the battery connection.) Don't know if that will work. Any other ideas?
Well, the Kanger BCC coils can be rebuilt... Normally the wick gets cut off flush at the base, but I guess you could experiment with not cutting it and leaving it in the tank, in essence turning it into a top coil system. As long as you use a good wick and it doesn't get chain vaped, to avoid the wick getting dry, I don't see why that wouldn't work.
One thing so, with it inverted, eventually you will have fluid build up at the (inverted) tip... You'll probably have to make something like an S-shaped drip/mouthpiece to catch that.
I don't know if this would work, but what about a cartomizer tank with the holes punched in the middle or top of the carto instead of the bottom?
Aren't there some hookas that can be used for this purpose? I'm sure I saw some somewhere that would probably do the job as they have long hose that can be used and the base sits on a table.
I have no idea of the quality of these nor have I ever tried one, but there seems to be some out there, you can check this and see if that may help with your needs.

RSST. Has tank, has fill hole plug, and laying flat will wick all the time, because the wick is on the side.

I have seen goose neck atomizer tips but can't recall exactly where, a web search should ping it for you. THer item looks rather like they took one of those flexible neck long fireplace disposable lighter heads and modded it. While it may not be pretty that should make the user able to hold the mod in a proper position and still reach the mouthpiece comfortably.
The hooka is a good idea. The Alibaba lists them but you have to order 5000 or so! But I will search other sites.

Interesting! What about a length of tubing, one end slipped over the PV drip tip? Maybe another drip tip in the tubing end? Gonna be a cool vape though and possibly condensation build up in the tube. There's a video out there somewhere with a guy in a suit of armor vaping with a tube going up into the helmet.
I havent ever gotten any liquid in my mouth when I vape laying back in my lazy bast#$d, but i use a CE4.
Neat ideas. Cool smoke probably ok so a tube might work then a top coil like the Vivi Nova might work.. CE4 doesn't leak if held upside down for a long while? It's a top coil and seems like it would flood. Or am I wrong and its an internal cartridge? Not clear how these work or whats inside.
the iclear 30 comes with an angle-able drip tip already installed.. itll burn through the juice, but it holds a lot as well..
If a top coil (like Vivi Nova) is kept upside down for a few hours will it leak into the inner tube? How about just on its side? Will the wicks keep it from dry hits? Anyone with experience on this? I don't see why the bottom coil tanks don't leak... air pressure? You can see I'm new at thinking about how these things work.
I just hit the vape to the side a little or tilt the head up... try to always keep the Kanger Protank II head in liquid so I don't get a dry hit. But, the knuckle head drip tip looks like it would be great for this purpose
