Friend of the family has opened a little second hand collectibles shop. They needed some one to come in for a few hours a week when they can't be there. No pay at first, but since I'm not working, I offered to do it just to get out of the house. If the business takes off this will turn into a paying FT job.

Ofc I asked about vape policy. Friend said huh? I explained it.
His response was "as long as ya don't blow it at the customers or fog the place out, I don't see a problem." :vapor:

I would like to vape at work but cannot do so. I work with cnc machines as well as every step in the production of fuses. While I am machining it would be awesome. But when I am plating or dealing with slurries I wouldnt want my pv anywhere near me. Not to mention I am sure the chemicals would be disastrous to the actual production. We have a very strict clean room and humidity controlled work place. One day at a new job maybe

When I was working as a price tagger at a ritzy upscale clothes shop in my mall, I vaped my whole shift every day, no problem. In fact, the entire time I worked there, none of my managers (and I had like 10 managers lol) even said a word about my little black lavatube and the clouds I blew with it. lol. They didn't know what to say or what to ask. All I know is, on the nights where I stayed up until my alarm clock went off.... My little black lavatube SAVED me. The only energy I had left at the end of my 4 or 8 hour shift was whatever energy the nicotine was giving me. It was horrible. I would of been fired if it weren't for that mod.

Congrats on the opportunity and I hope you enjoy it!

I work in quality engineering at a med device manufacturer and I've taken to stealth vaping in my cubicle since none of my co-workers have a problem with it. They're just happy that I've quit the stinkies. Anyway, last week I happened to be dipping my head for a puff when my VP walked by and said hi...I responded in kind and let out a light vapor cloud, he just smiled.

It's totally awesome to work with a group of people that want you to be successful and cheer you on in your professional and private life. It's a far cry from my last position and I am blessed to work with such high caliber people.
