Got home to find my New (to me) Rio Grand waiting for me in the mail box.
This is my first Rio so I wasn't sure what to expect. This thing is a lot smaller than I thought it would be (good thing), same height as my Provari mini. I definitely get the attraction now. I love the color, I didn't think I would, I was planning on refinishing it when I bought it. The color is gorgeous in person and I'm going to leave it as is. I put a killer on it with a 1.7 ohm micro coil, loved the vape, thought I would try it with out the bottom adapter for a shorter profile and............,short. The hot spring did it's job at least. I ordered three more springs from Reo just in case. This is my first full mech without a kick, got to be a bit more careful in the future. I do have a kick and a 2 cents for safety fuse on the way. I was also able to work out a trade for bottom fed cyclone atty. All in all I am extremely pleased with it and very happy I got it, just wish I would of seen the light and got one earlier.

3 things I think everyone says when their first one arrives :D
Wait until you feel how small the mini 2.1 is when your second one arrives :)

Congrats and welcome to the club. BTW, the Killer is way way to airy without the bottom adapter anyway IMHO.
Wasn't a real fan of the Killer. I think you will like the Cyclone though.

Welcome Leithan. There's nothing like the feeling of dipping out for the day with a fully loaded grand in hand. You won't be forced to end whatever mission your on because of it. It'll get ya there and back and not even break a sweat. You won't even have to think about it. Congrats :)

Definitely consider getting a RM2 RBA.
I would but I have a sensitivity to Nickel and from what I understand it's nickel plated brass. It's not really bad (minor hives and bad metallic taste) but its enough that I stay away from nickel, chrome plating and certain stainless steel alloys. I can't even use the silverware at most restaurants and always carry around a few of these Light My Fire - Spork Titanium. Chrome plating in and of it's self doesn't bother me, its when the chrome starts wearing and the nickle plating underneath becomes exposed.
