i wanted to wean myself down, but the only thing that keeps my craving at bay is big blasts of nicotine. if i could tone down my desire for TH, i could easily get into the no-nic zone. its not so much the nicotine that i want, i just want that feeling in the back of your throat. and at this time, it appears that only nicotine will do that. PGA might help but ive heard very mixed reviews.

I started at 12, went to 18 because 12 wasn't doing it for me at the time, dropped to 12 a month ago, and now ordering only 6

This summer, I'm going to put some 6 and 0 in a bunch of empty 5ml bottles, hand them to my wife, and ask her to give me a random bottle every day. I want to see if I can still feel anything. If not, perhaps no point to continue vaping...

I don't want to be addicted to juice forever, any more than I wanted to be addicted to cigs forever.

I just received my second batch of 0 mg juice. I have been vaping in the 8-12 mg range for the last month or so (with a couple of 6 mg bottles scattered in there). My first experience with 0 mg juice was not good, because like Kemosabe said, you just don't get very much throat hit. I'm in law school and my time is very valuable, so DYI-ing juice is not an option. But I ordered 3 bottles of 0 mg juice from Highbrow Vapors, and asked them to customize the flavors with extra throat hit. Worked like a charm and I've only been using my 6 mg juice first thing in the morning (though I sometimes indulge with whats left of my 8 mg juices when I have a couple of drinks). I'm not sure what they do to add the extra TH, but it works well.

It's the TH that's keeping me away from zero nic. I just love my TH. I've been diluting to 4mg, but I missed the TH, a lot, it just wasn't strong enough. So now I'm back up to 6. That's the lowest mg I can use and still get a sufficient TH. Seriously, I was using a 0 nic, water diluted VG only mint flavor vape that I DIYd from supplies I found around town, when I ran out of juice for about a day.

I did okay without the nicotine. I honestly don't feel I'm all that dependent on it anymore. Not like I was when I was a smoker or vaping 24mg. But the lack of TH from that juice just made me feel, idk, sad and disappointed? So I'm vaping 6mg, and I'm okay with it. At suck a low nic rate, I don't think I'm doing my body much damage. Certainly no more damage than my serious coffee habit lol.

+1 for the coffee habit.

I feel that 6 mg is a great spot to stay at. It really helps me wake up in the morning (along with my double espresso)

Oh yes coffee coffee coffee, morning, noon and night. My family and coworkers think I'm nuts. Straight from the pot to the cup, directly into my mouth. No cream or sugar thanks. I'm a coffee purist lol. It's supposed to taste bitter and gritty, one of the things I like most about it. None of that weak stuff either; if you can see through it, might as well be drinking tea (shakes head). Espresso is lovely too, just the shot of espresso, maybe an Americano (it's like black dripped coffee, it just tastes a whole lot more awesome). I will admit to an occasional capuccino though. It's like a guilty indulgence once or twice a week.

Seriously, if you took away my nicotine, I'd be mildly annoyed at best. However, take away my coffee and there will be blood  You see, I'm what one might refer to as a morning bear. "No talk, coffee first *glares*. It's 8am and I'm awake, what more do you want?"

Ha! I totally agree. Nowadays, nicotine is a luxury for me, but caffeine is a vital necessity.
