I'm not hooked on nicotine anymore but miss smoking so I have been VOLT vaping 0 nic juices and really liking it.

In reading around the forums, I have not seen anyone else mention doing this except for one guy who's wife did it a while when pregnant.

Anyone else out there vaping 0 nic only? What juices do you love? Any other stories or experiences?

I've seen a few people mention they use 0 nic. One said he was making his own juices and forgot to put the nic in. When he realized it, he decided he didn't need it anymore.

I'm getting closer to 0. I started at 24mg and have been slowly working down. I'm using some 3mg, some 6 mg and some 0 mg. I'm using Heather's Heavenly Vapor, Virgin Vapor and mixing my own using vaping Zone's Super Concentrated flavoring, which is the easiest DIY out there - 12 drops of flavor in a 10mL bottle of unflavored base.

I prefer tobaccos, coffee and caramel vapes.

Everything from Heather's has been wonderful, except for one in the Purity Line. She has some great fruit and bakery vapes, as well and an entire other line of juices that I cannot use because it's not available in 100% VG. I'm super sensitive to PG.
I love Caramel Kona Milkshake, Kona Velvet Milkshake and Butter Cream Mint from Virgin Vapor. They have a ton I haven't tried.
I'm in love with a few I mixed from the Vaping Zone - they also have premade juice available in the same flavors and available in 0 nic.

What juices are you using?

Im now at 0 nic.
I "stopped" smoking cigs when I was pregnant and nursing both of my kids. Nicotine is out of your system around 60 days, but the inhaling/exhaling, hand to mouth, the enjoyment of smoking is what I missed. (I did NOT miss the smell)
So, after I was done nursing, I simply went back to smoking - just because I COULD. Stupid reason I know.

I began to hate the way I smelled, the way cigs tasted, so when my husband started vaping, I really didnt give it much thought, as he tried the Blu cigs when I was pregnant, and it never worked for him. Then all of a sudden he goes from 2 packs a day to nothing - all because of vaping.

I started at a low nic level 18, then dropped to 9, and finally 0. I did notice that the nicotine in the 9 and 18 would bother me a little bit, so the next time I purchased my e-liquid, I decided to get 0. Im SOOOO happy

I actually purchased a sampler pack (with zero nicotine) from Zeus E-Juice. This is the one I purchased https://www.zeusejuice.com/5ml-samp...ler-at-0mg-0?zenid=4i6ql8fe0hjfpttjb6bv9u8jk3

And I really enjoy it. And what I actually find ironic is that I enjoy a lot of the cooler/ice/menthol flavors. Reason is when I was a smoker I was a Marlboro Light girl - NEVER smoked menthol cigs.

So to answer your question - you are not alone vaping 0 nic! My "addiction" is not to the nicotine. Thats why vaping is SO PERFECT for me! :)

The first couple bottles I ever bought was 18mg and that was way too high for me. I even still get the buzz from 11-12mg liquids, so I normally just get 6mg now. I want to switch to 0 nic at some point but I also feel like if I have a little bit of nic, I'll be less inclined to smoke a real cig, which I still do occasionally when drinking. But I do think I will be able to use 0 nic eventually, I might have to get higher PG for the throat hit though.

Yeah, I wouldn't drop down too quickly. What I did to move down was to purchase the same flavor in whatever level I'm currently at and then the same flavor in the next level down. I would mix them 75:25 for awhile and then 50:50 then 25:75 and then go to the lower level 100%. And start over again with the next level down to mix in with my new current level. I usually spend a week or two at each of the ratios on the way down.

If you drop a whole level too quickly, it seems the flavor is weak. Whereas mixing them gets you adjusted to tasting it properly. When I started at 24, then to 18 and 12, I was able to do it pretty much boom, boom, boom. But below 12, the flavor and throat hit seemed too compromised when dropping 6mg at a whack. Going slowly allows your throat to heal and actually get more sensitive to nic.

Heck, I mixed up a 24mg for a good friend the other day and tested it. I swear my eyelashes curled up the throat hit was so overly strong. Right now, even 8mg seems harsh.

i started at 24.... that did not last long, it was too much, now I am at 12 and 6. I also have some 0nic that i got as samples, and am super thankful! So, when I am vaping just to vape use those 0 nic. To me, it seems like there is a stigma, imaginary or not, that 0 nic has the same thing as decaff coffee.....
Does that makes senxe??

I quit smoking 4 years ago but miss it so I started vaping with a volt 808 batt and some volt 0 nic carts and love it. Hit them too hard today though I think, I have a sore throat. Ordered some cheap zero nic samples and some clearos to try out some new flavors. Used to be a marlboro menthol smoker, like the strong menthol from SI, don't like the grape, not sure about the cappuccino. Worried a bit about the sore throat thing. Hoping for the best, maybe it is just a cold? Funny - wishing for a cold.

Yes. I think my smoker friends might think it is crazy to vape 0 nic, and in fact probably a lot of the hard core vapers do too. Like why not just quit? I guess I loved smoking but quit for many other reasons including I did not want to be hooked on anything or die. With vaping 0 nic I can have half the fun but none of the stink, stigma, health problems, or slow suicide.

I never had the sore throat thing, but maybe drinking more water will help. Vaping can actually be dehydrating, despite the moisture.

As for zero nic, I've worked my way down from 24mg to 6mg over the last 8 months and what has helped was being able to order juices with extra flavor and extra sweetener. Minty type juices have also helped a lot and I will probably lean more towards that as I start ordering zero nic soon. With the sweet minty vapor, I almost don't miss the nic at all. It's becoming more about the flavor and vapor and less about the nic fix as time goes by.

I'm one of those that accidentally stumbled upon the 0 nic juice when I forgot to change the default setting for BMVs hypermint. Default selection is 0 nic, so...

Just a few days ago, I broke it back out again and man, I realize I don't need the nic at all! The vapor production of this juice is unparalleled to any other juice I've ever had from a variety of vendors. The taste is awesome as well! No looking back now, as stated, my real addiction is the ritual of "smoking" not the nicotine!

I started vaping about 7 months ago using kr808, got tired of batteries dieing all the time started smoking again, started vaping ego at 24 mg while still smoked ( cut down on smoking drastically though) bought a zmax, went to only vaping on jan 28. On the tenth dropped nic level from 24 to 12, and just dropped it down to 0 to just vape some 0 for awhile and honestly even after only a few weeks of non stop vaping feel switching to no nic will be a breeze. I think I'll have a few times throughout the next few days where I'll raise nic to 6 but think by my zmax's one month anniversary I'll be a 0 nic vapor. I don't ever see quiting vaping though because like you I just enjoy smoking, it s my release......
