Vape Shops in Western Mass?

Hey, if you haven't already found anything, I wanted to let you know about a couple of stores I have been to -- the first is Vaper's Haven in Easthampton...the people are GREAT, but the prices are on the high side. The second is Bird's in Florence; although they are more of a general/local grocery store, they do have a fair amount of vape supplies, including juice, batteries, carts, and maybe kits as well.

There's a new vape shop that just opened at 9 South Bridge Dr in Agawam MA called MyEcigs Vape Supplies and E-Liquids. It's right over the Springfield South End Bridge on the Rt 57 Rotary. It's a beautiful store, very impressive! Something like 40 e-liquid flavors and a ton of equipment, great prices. Worth a look.

Have to look into the place some time. I still have to stop in one right on Main St. Springfield called Rebbot Electronics who opened up back in 2012 mainly starting off with cell phones, laptops, musical instruments and then sometime last year expended into ecigs. They lack a web site but you can see the vape lounge and the layout in several photos on their FaceBook page.

I guess it's more like eastern Mass, but Madvapes recently opened a store in Worcester.

I went there, and really wasn't impressed at all. I was surprised, since their online presence is pretty smooth.

Very limited selection of stuff, and it seemed that the high-end stuff in the display cases wasn't for sale (I asked about 2 different PV's, one belonged to one of the guys who worked there, the other one was broken). And for me it was a 45-minute drive each way. Shoulda gone to Nashua instead!

Question - I work in Springfield. Are any of the juices sold at these stores any good? If so, what brand do you recommend?

I am in love with Fuzion so I want to get my girlfriend some of her own muhaha.

There are a few places in the local area surrounding as well as in the city that either carry vaping supplies or are vape shops. I asked someone else who is local about the shops one being a smoke shop now carrying disposables as well as one place at the "X" Sumner Ave. that was labeled a "Head Shop" by someone who attends various vape meets, etc. One by the rotary of the South End bridge over in Agawam got a good reference. And other vape shop comes up on Elm St. West Springfield.

Now as far as going in and trying anything that I haven't done myself since I order strictly online keeping one excellent vendor in mind I can point you at namely Prospector's business as seen on the thread here with another Fall discount in progress at the moment. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/604397-summer-sale-ends-soon.html

I originally sampled his flavors when we were both reaching the point of quitting tobacco once and for all. Presently CCV is in the top 5 according to one 2014 review site. Crystal Canyon Vapes E-Liquid Is Some Of The Best E-Liquid In The USA

If you run a Bing search you will come up with several in just about every other town or city since these are starting to pop up everywhere including one that was nailed lately for selling fakes as the genuine with several online domains. The one in downtown Springfield is Reboot Electronics who had previously dealt only with cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc and got into carrying disposables and premade ejuices(which I tend to avoid!). The Smoke n Deals place on Boston Rd. up before Parker st and the malls area is now also carrying disposables as well as eGo 1100mah with usb adapter packs while those are now found for $7 when previously seen for $18 a year ago online.

The one place to find out where(Partial listings only) any vape shop(s) are located is a review site with a search engine just for this where you add the zip code where you are and the distance away you all in one. With one shot from the PO on State st. to have a central point to work off of in the city since Springfield was specified I have a list here you can go over.

Distance 0.62 Miles
Voltage Vape Shop
1212 Main St.
Springfield, Massachusetts 01103 Reboot Electronics at 1228 Main st? Another site shows: Voltage Vape Shop – 1228 Main Street Springfield, MA 01103 -(567) 694-8273 (Read more E Cig Stores and Vape Shops In The USA Listing | Guide To Vaping which again only shows a handful of 7 vendors mostly in E.MA.!)

Distance 3.94 Miles

Distance 16.16 Miles
Glassology Inc.
137-B Damon Road
Northampton, Massachusetts 01060

The word about the one on Sumner Ave. by someone who frequents various vape meets and checks out every place just about is that the one there at the X is a head shop suggesting vaporizers more then vaping gear in short terms. For getting the best variety as well as much lower prices however you see that by a collection of online vendors and when looking for something specific you run a general search so as not to just RIPPED OFF! as it seems there are a growing number out there ready to pilfer you with overpricing things a bit!

I had a similar experience with one of the local shops. I went in, talked to the owner and his wife and they were super friendly. He offered me fair prices - a few dollars over online/equal to online. For example, the BDC coils for the Aspire. He quoted me $12. I still had a few left so didn't worry about it.

I came back 2 days later and only the wife was in. I said I'll take a pack of the nautilus coils please.

"$20" she replied...

I was like what? I was told $12.

"ok hold on. Let me call my husband. ring irng. How much are the nautilus coils? $12... I heard her repeat what I thought it was. Then she turned to me and said $15."

True story.

That can burn you up at times when hearing something like that! I got burned back in May-June 2013 by a scam site and why I have only been dealing with one site in Hong Kong while I am greating some great buys on hardwares at a Canadien site. I tell you it helps to search around while the bad site was also found in one search result. Local shops you can always expect a mark up or if running into shop online they may have several shops where they mark things down!

You can still find a few ripoffs online however like the site that wasn't actually a legit vendor but a "Saw you coming!" site that takes your money for an order and then even sends an email confirmation or offers any way to track orders! The one running it posed as some other dealer and sends me an email saying my junk filter are preventing his price list from being received which I knew was total BUNK since I get all kinds in the junk mail folder and then simply block them!

Other vendors online and may have a local shop or two somewhere can get really pricey at times and miss the point about encouraging people to get into vaping as the better alternative as well as far more cost effective habit compared to smoking! All they tend to see is the $$$$$ they can get even marking over suggested retail at times! I've run into that on occasion. This is why once I order and get what I pay for and know the vendor is legit I move the link into a separate list from other sites I hear about if not run into on searches that seem much better. The best places as far as any local shop however are found when you are referred to them by someone experienced who is familiar with the shop and perhaps who runs it. Some owners may be connected with a smoke free alternative type group like CASAA and he a good place to go!

OK now I just got done looking over the Voltage Vape Shop FB page and that shows 1212 Main st. not 1228. Apparently they had moved shortly after like 101 days after opening up at one address to the present one but that first still wasn't at the Reboot Electronics location. They carry some large bottles of ejuice there for sure! Try 480 or 1000ml size!

As for the vendor over in Agawan their web site is seen at http://my-ecigs.com/ They carry mostly ejuice and a club membership with very little in the way of hardwares eGo express kits battery with usb adapter and some pen style disposable hookahs. That's more of a beginner's quick stop not having anything else like Vamos, mechs, etc since that one is relatively new in business.

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Voltage Vape Shop in Springfield. I had been driving to Vibrations in Enfield, I bought my Kanger Mini2 and all my batteries from them, but I wanted an upgrade and came across Voltage in my Google search of local B&M's. I have to say I was blown away by the customer service, knowledge of product and general love of what they do. I ended up getting a nice setup and a D2 Nightcore Charger, which I was very surprised they had, and they completely got it set up and working before they would let me walk out of the shop with it. I ended up spending way more money than I would have liked but that's how it goes in Mass, at least it's going back into the local community. I also grabbed Revenge from Cape Fear Juice Co upon a recommendation from the expert and it is amazing. I have to say it was an all around great experience and I will definitely be going back. They're moving the shop around the corner in a month or so and there will be more parking.
