I have also noticed this happening in my area and its super exciting! My husband and I now make it a point to search out vape shops every time we travel. As a growing thing, its quite interesting how they vary in the products and prices and even the layouts. So far everyone we have visited has a sofa and love seats. They are very inviting and most of them have tables set up that you can do your builds on and hang out to just vape in shop.

Also the markup seems pretty high...for example the Kanger Tech 510 starter kit is usually $35-45 online most places but in these 2 shops they want almost $60 for it & provide no refund or anything if it stops working out of nowhere.

That's a problem I had to deal with here.......I had bought a TotalVapor vv/vw 1300mah battery at a local smoke shop that has started selling a limited selection of hardware and juices. It suddenly stopped working and I took it in and they told me I had to contact TV for warranty so I e mailed them and never received a reply. Not good! I suppose I'll have to give them a call next.

If they aren't going to warranty their products at the local store then I may as well just save the money and order online.

This is the only issue that I have with the higher prices in the B&Ms... If the product isn't going to come with a "serviceable by them" warranty, what reason do I have to pay and extra $20-$40 more. It would be different if I could bring it back to them and THEY could deal with the Manufacturer.

A lot of these enterprises aren't backed by much more than enthusiasm - which is not a great model for opening a small business - and they fail accordingly. It's akin to someone suddenly discovering they like to eat food and deciding that's all they need to know in order to open a restaurant.

Aww man, you hit the nail on the head right there...
