Hi and Welcome! I highly recommend the Joytech eVic -VTC mini with the Tron Tank. I own 2 of them I use for work and I have had no issues with them. They also work with an RDA if you want to use one later. Less then $55.00 at fasttech.com. Buy extra coils and a good charger also Fasttech. Don't forget good batteries. don't buy batteries from Fasttech.

I would not recommend anything that is non-adjustable/variable-power
Basically, all those 'tube' e-cigs that only vape at the power created by the battery an atomizer are not ideal. For this reason, I do not vote for anything that vapes out of the box at 58 watts.
Just be careful that you buy a box mod that it has a spring loaded 510 pin or adjustable 510 pin. Some older Kanger box mods do not.

Personally, I'd get the eVic mini VTC over the Kanger.

The eVic vtc is one of the best kits to come out lately. Great for a beginner but also something you won't ditch/regret buying when you have a little more experience. There is a slight learning curve that comes with it (depending on knowledge you now have.) but nothing you can't learn easily from the owners manual and from the vast amount of knowledge you can get here when you begin to use the more advanced features of it.

If you want the most simple device to begin with I'd suggest the Joyetech AIO or the Innokin Endura T18. Either one of these is extremely simple, nothing to set, just fill with liquid, push the button and vape. You'l outgrow these devices in short time. The AIO is the cheapest of the two (around 20.00) and the Endura is around 30.00. Although the AIO is cheaper it's not necessarily inferior to the Endura. If it were me, I'd get the AIO for the small investment in something that you'll undoubtedly outgrow soon. Check out some very new videos on youtube. The device is getting good reviews. Even though I've been vaping awhile now and have quite a few mods I just had to have one of these.

The Kanger is the better device (imo) of your two original choices but doesn't beat the eVic vtc by any stretch.

Welcome to ECF! Good luck with your search for gear. :)

Edit: Just wanted to add that the eVic vtc is shipping with the Cubis tank now. That tank takes the same coils as the AIO if you happen to get both. ;)

In hindsight (and after dj posted)

1) Are you using vaping as your bridge to quit, once you have will you be done with vaping?? (Then get one of the kits)

2) Planning on just converting one habit into another? (research/educate/invest)

3) Variable wattage / removable battery ALWAYS

4) Do you want a Convenience or Custom experience?

Convenience: can sometimes be an ok thing. You go to the store you buy a pack of coils you prime that and then plop it into your unit.
$$ grub.

Custom:
you build your coils/thread your cotton ect ect -if your a penny pincher you will save your biggest bucks this route BUT it will take trial and error to perfect the custom experience.

Just a few things to ask yourself....

Hey guys,

I think about starting with vaping too. So I searched for vaping starterkits in the internet. I found two kits that seem to be pretty good. The "Kanger Subox Mini" and the "Joyetech eGo ONE VT".
Maybe you guys could help me out a little bit with which of those two is the better one.

Best regards Siefmon

Both are good kits.

The subox is older, and does not have a variable temperature option; on the plus side it has a rebuildable atomizer option

the ego one vt, seems to be a fixed battery mod with a 3 level setting for vw and vt.

Between the two of them I'd take the subox.
