Lol, right you are, I have to drive to see snow. I grew up in snow country, not as much as you're getting, but enough to sympathize. I do remember the first night of a snowfall though, white clinging to the bare tree limbs and so quiet. I loved that part. Then, of course I remember having to shovel it, slosh through it when it started to melt and I don't feel quite as nostalgic.

I too have vaping tantrums when I find my mailbox empty. My neighbors probably think I have a seizure disorder. As for op's weather/transportation issues, I know someone who rode her horse to Wal-Mart when she ran out of analogs after a snowstorm. I would've given anything to see that.

ohhh theres an idea..I see this fellah often riding to town on his horse...maybe I should hitch a ride
heh seizure disorder..is that what this twitch is...

Actually, considering where I'm now living, I'm surprised they don't have hitching posts at the local Wally World. Shortly after moving here I got out of my car at a gas station and stepped in a pile of horse poop. That's when I knew I wasn't in Kansas (or Atlanta) anymore.

I just noticed you have Georgia as your location! I would have said the same thing if I still lived in Woodstock, since there are farms EVERYWHERE. But it's developing like crazy out there, not quite as rural as it used to be. East Cobb, where I am, now, and grew up = definitely not rural. Though there is the occasional horse farm here and there... right next to a Super Target. Kinda weird.

Btw, your "seizure disorder" comment had me in hysterics, LOL!
