I want to stay by saying I just got the Pico squeeze 2 and used it with the ammit mtl tank. Loved this setup. I decided to go grocery shopping today and left the mod in the car. Came out and put the groceries in the truck so I unlocked the car. I had my bag with me and nothing else of real value in the car. I parked slightly far from where you put the carts back. Without thinking about it because it was pouring I walk back to put the cart back. The time it took me to walk to put the cart back and get back to the car someone took my bloody vape! Moral of the story being a decent human being doesn't pay. Sad face.

At least you still have your groceries and truck.

Just trying to help. That sucks. Can't even imagine someone looking around and going "there! A really good squonk! I've been breaking into cars all month and finally I got lucky ". Why take your squonk? That's just so weird. Definitely sad, and I'd be all ...... off, but it still is sorta strange.

I hope you have backup at home.

Quite a few of the stores around here have been burglarized. People assume that they are expensive. They are small, easy to grab and conceal. Thieves will look for the easiest option. Sorry to hear about that happening. Unfortunately you can't let your guard down for a minute anymore.

Ecigs have become high rip off items because teens want them and can’t get them, so they will buy at top dollar without asking questions.

Every action has a reprucussion. Often an unexpected one. Vaping legislation apparently drives up small property crime.

Guard your vapes folks, or your stuff will wind up in the hands of kids.

Very sorry to hear this. While it may be just an object, and easily replaceable in the larger scheme of things ... its theft is also a violation, and can naturally feel more personal and disruptive than plain reason might allow.

I have a silver Ammit MTL RDA (if that's what you meant, though you said 'tank') that I never got along with -- PM me if you'd like me to send it to you (to try to push the balance at least partly back in favor of decency again) :)

One day I was sitting in a sidewalk cafe in a very upscale neighbourhood. I was vaping on an original BB with mother of pearl doors and tip, one of my fav vapes. When all of a sudden I reached for my phone in my purse, set it on the table, and the lady on the table beside me got up, snatched it and ran away. Fortunately a cop saw what happened and stopped her. I got it back. Since then, every time I sit in a sidewalk cafe I keep my mod in my hand, a pocket or my lap. Could happen anywhere.

Strange indeed. That'd why I didn't think anything of leaving it. I kept it right in that door too. Right in that little space you grab to close the door,. I'm sad because I just got it.

That truly sucks.
Reminds me of the person whose car got broken into and the burglar LEFT their vape in the car they broke into.

Uh huh ... I remember once, I had a banjo in the backseat and foolishly left my car unlocked when I went shopping ... when I got back ... yep ... three more banjos :(

I hear your point. Don't know if it was necessarily a kid that took it considering it was in the door. Really just think someone saw me unlock the car and walk away.

Situational awareness, always! As you found out, it only takes a second when you drop your guard.

Sorry for the loss of your new mod. I hope whoever snagged it gets nothing but dry hits and leaks!

Have you checked to see if your car insurance would cover anything ?

That would be my guess too. They would probably have grabbed a bag of potato chips if that was all they saw. And walked away thinking they had come out ahead.

No, the moral of the story is lock your car door I'm afraid, like all the time.

I go one better, I have a car that drives great, it's beaten and battered I NEVER do body work not because I am afraid to or can't afford it, I wash it once a year if someone like, wants to borrow it and I leave random trash, flotsam and jetsam all OVER a bit. No respectable thief is going to touch my car with a 10 foot pole.. You probably look decent enough to steal from. I sort of try to make sure I don't. ALWAYS.

No lie, I have left my keys in the apartment door and either there is little foot traffic but no one has EVEN bothered to open the door I don't think.

They have seen my car. LOL.

But I'm sorry for your loss and it sucks.

Anna
