VW doesn't give free flavor boosts to my knowledge and there are also a couple of other statements in there that I believe you are mistaken on but don't want to start those issues up again.

Oh wow, you're right! Because the flavor boost checkbox didn't have a price next to it, I assumed that it was free. However I just went to their site and notice that when you check to box, it increases the price by $0.30.

I'm not sure if I like that. It should be clearer that the flavor boost comes at a charge. I will go back and revise my blog post accordingly. ;)

Thanks so much for the compliments on my writing!

For those who may be interested, I wrote about vape Wild over on my blog. I did a mild comparison between them and my current favorite e-liquid vendor, Mister e-liquid. :)

Very good blog. Thanks for the info on Mr. E-Liquid. I was about to write a pretty bad review of them on my own blog. B&M in Scottsdale that I went to had Mr. E-Liquid supposedly on sale, but when I asked for a bottle, I got a handmixed bottle with a white label marked in ballpoint pen. I figured Mr E-Liquid was their house brand since I've never heard of them. Now I'm not sure I even want to vape it lol.

I give them a big Nay

My order was as follows

1 x Rice Krisps e-Juice
(Nicotine Strength: 3 mg (Extra Light), VG / PG Blend: VG 80%+ [ Max VG ], Bottle Size: 30 ml + $4, Flavor Boost: Yes)

1 x Vape Wild eJuice Sample Pack (60 ml)
(Nicotine Strength: 3 mg (Extra Light), VG / PG Blend: VG 80%+ [ Max VG ], Flavor #1: Strawberries & Cream, Flavor #2: Butterscotch, Flavor #3: Fruit Hoops, Flavor #4: Yummy Bear, Flavor #5: Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Flavor #6: Birthday Cake, Flavor Boost (applies to all 6 flavors): Yes)

They also threw in a sample of Fruit bomb and a sample of licorice rope in the same VG / Nic content as my order.

I vaped a few drips of each out of the box with fresh cotton on each and they all tasted very weak and sort of chemically. After two weeks steep time i tried them again and the flavors were stronger but so was the chemically aftertaste. Gave them another couple weeks and we're still in the same ballpark.

The way i would explain the flavors is this : Where most companies flavors taste like either the actual item, or a candy version of it (Strawberries / strawberry candy) , VapeWild flavoring seems to taste more like the what the Air freshener / Candle flavoring version of it would.
I never get flavor boosts on a new vendors juice. You would have been better at 50/50 or 65/35. I find their flavors to be strong and match the description very well.:2c: Some manufacturers recommend lighter flavor for dripping.

A very nice write up and pleasurable read! You have an excellent writing style there MsShona!

I agree that I would like to see a "born on date" and size on VW labels. or even a barcode that would lead you to the info online would be cool!

I also love Smurf, although for an ADV I prefer OCC. I have found 2-3 week step best for full flavor of either one.

I'm about to place yet another order for both Smurf and OCC. I'm thinking on the next order, I'm going to try to focus on varying PG/VG (I tend to like high VG stuff, so I'll get: 80, 65, and 50% VG, of the same flavs both with and without shots. I have 2 Atlantis tanks and 1 subtank mini at my disposal, but for testing purposes I'll use the 2 Atlantis tanks for a fair evaluation.

So my next order I am considering:

1 30ml OCC 80%VG, 6mg nic,+flav shot (What I started with on initial order and like, this will be my baseline)
1 30ml Smurf , 80%VG, 6mg nic, + flav shot (also my initial baseline for SC)

1 sampler (focus on OCC) consisting of:
OCC 80%, 6mg, no flav shot
OCC 65%, 6mg, no flav shot
OCC, 65%, 6mg, + flav shot
OCC, 50%, 6mg, no flav shot
OCC, 50%, 6mg, + flav shot
????

1 sampler (focus on SC) consisting of:
SC 80%, 6mg, no flav shot
SC 65%, 6mg, no flav shot
SC, 65%, 6mg, + flav shot
SC, 50%, 6mg, no flav shot
SC, 50%, 6mg, + flav shot
????

I'll first evaluate PG/VG mix and then find my preference of shot/no shot. My thought process is currently that with the high VG and most commonly vaped via a tank a shot might be good. ...And, who doesn't enjoy a shot now and then? LOL! This test should show me, once and for all, via my 2 fav VW flavs; both my preferred VW mix ratio, and shot/no shot need.

I'll post my thoughts on this evaluation, once completed if anyone thinks it might be interesting. Albeit, they'll only be my opinions and personal observations only! LOL! YMMV!

I both dripped them and tanked em. Unfortunately i'm looking for quality high VG juice so if they can't deliver that then unfortunately i cant say Vape Wild is the company for me.

Love your idea Darryl, and I'm anxious to read your multi-mix boost/no-boost findings! I never do boosts; too many times I hear bad reports about flavors I like from people who boost them in the blind. The DIY sub-forum is rife with anecdotes about how adding more flavoring yields inverse results.

I've always done 50/50 or less VG, being married to my little tanks. But I've got a pair of Subtank Nanos on the way, so I'm also wondering if I'll want more VG for those.

Everybody has different tastes and devices. Some people have problems with PG. Hope you find what you are lookin for. Have you tried ITC Vapes?

Most here love and appreciate the value.

For slightly over the price of a b&m bottle you can try 6 VW flavs! I've dropped $15-20 on bottles I found I really didn't like, and I bet most of us have. Too bad you didn't like your first VW try. However, I'd suggest picking a flav you like from other vendors and finding a VW flav that's similar. Then get one of each PG/VG, with and without shots and KNOW if you like or don't like VW. The price is that good! I like custards and other smooth flavs mostly and for me in high VG with a shot, VW is 1st or a close 2nd when comparing to other similar flavs from "gourmet" and other vendors. My :2c:

The way I feel about flavor shots is because of diy. When I get a flavor right, if I add any more it messes it up. It's not easy balancing out complex flavors and some notes are added just to bring a main flavor out without tastin it. Sometimes adding too much even mutes the flavor. :)

In my opinion the mini is the best subtank of the 3. I'm loving the rebuildable deck, getting incredible flav out of this tank... very close to a dripper,,,very close to my dripper that is!

As I stated earlier, my thinking at the time was tank/high VG.. might be beneficial. Every tester I've ordered from VW ahs been 80% with shot, so far its all I know and I like them even when up against a "gourmet" of similar flav profile. After my eval listed above I should know definitively if I need the shot, and what PG/VG is best for me and my tanks.

I think it will be an interesting experiment, and am curious what I might discover in "The Quest for the Perfect VW Vape" <--- said in my best Nimoy voice... LOL RIP Spock!

I very nearly went for the ST Mini, but I REALLY don't want to step into rebuilding, or even give myself the option, because I'm sure I'd like it too much! I want to keep my juice consumption low, too, so the smaller tanks appeal. Plus, I'm a mouth-hitter and I hear the Minis are a little uncomfortable for that, with too much airflow even on the low setting. These Nanos will be just a little experiment for me in producing a teeny bit more vapor and putting a little cotton in the mix.

Yeah that doesn't sound like Mister E-Liquid. I brought my first bottle at a B&M store. I think it had a creation date of September-something. This was just this past November. The label looked just like the one in my blog post...with black magic marker. They never had a white label. When I re-ordered from them online in December, I received all computer printed labels with designs on them.

Yeah, I'm interested but not so much in the high VG. I'd rather get flavor without the biggest cloud output. I'm more interested in how you compare the lower vg without the boost. :)

I could not agree more,i have found even 1% to much can take a great flavor to something you never want to taste again haha.I have only done the boost on vw juice 1 time, this was a flavor i really liked when i tried it at the standard level, but i thought wow this would be great with a boost,i was wrong,i bought a 60ml with the boost back in Dcember,i still have 56ml left in that bottle haha.I need to order it again without the boost and mix a bit of each together to see if i can get it back to vapable haha.

That may need to be re thought, on the samplers the flavor boost applies to all or none in that sampler pack.

Glad you like it. I've heard somebody say it was all menthol and little apple flavor. But if that was the case my wife wouldn't touch it. I think too that it has good apple flavor without bein overpowered with menthol and mint like most Apple Chills or Apple Menthols are.
Yeah the menthol flavoring is a bit overpowering. I'd prefer a little more apple (which is why I ordered one of the green apple flavors in my samples). Since Ahlusion only offers nic levels of 6 and 12, and after kinda-recently purchasing a Kayfun Lite, the 12mg was WAY too much so I dropped to 6. I figured since VW offers 6, 9 and 12 I'd give 9 a shot with this sample pack. Wish I had of just kept it at 6mg instead

Vape Wild's nicotine has a stronger than normal flavor to me. I cut down to 3mg and no problem. Some tanks will mute the apple but none mute Menthol :)
