The Toffee Coffee is for my husband, I actually hate coffee in all forms so Tiramisu is a no go for me as well.

Yeah, I know, I'm a freak of nature, but oh well. No coffee flavors for me!

I don't know why they call it a coffee. I have never gotten coffee from any I've ordered (It's my favorite VW juice). And I really like coffees but Tiramisu is a cake not a coffee, even though coffee is used in a Tiramisu cake. It's worth trying :)

Did you buy flavoring from different vendors or have you found a couple sites that meet your needs?

I've been doing DIY for about 2 months now. I've used Nude Nicotine to start, Bull City Vapors, have a wholesale account with The Flavor Apprentice (which is insanely easy to get) and just tried Heartland Vapes. All you really need is a few syringes, gloves, bottles, flavors, nic, pg, and vg. Also take good notes and use a juice calculator. If you take the plunge, feel free to PM me. I'm not an expert, but willing to help.

Just getting started, huh?
That was my first thought too haha,i remember when my flavor list was around that size, then i ended up with over a hundred, and actually use about 10 haha, the rest have been a hey that sounds good, then turns out their not type of deals haha.
Well I don't know about that flavoring, but a Shirley Temple is a kids' cocktail that bartenders serve up: lemon-lime soda (or ginger ale) with red grenadine or maraschino cherry syrup. They use cola instead to make a Roy Rogers. With a cherry too, of course.

I drank so many Roy Rogers when i was a kid it's not even funny haha.My aunt was a bartender at the restaraunt she worked at,and every time we would go to visit her,we would go there to eat,and as soon as we walked in the door she would have one waiting for me haha.

Little bro and I used to get ours at the Elks' Lodge bar, during the regular family outings to their Friday-night Fish Fry buffets. I got pretty tired of fried cod and coleslaw back then, but I always liked the Shirley Temples. That's also where I learned about jerky, though I misheard the name from the kid who had a mouth full of it, which led to a pretty funny goose chase: little me imploring dad, and him doing his best to find me that "turkey" snack at the bar. Pfft. I can still see that shrugging bartender literally scratching his head.

Apple of my Ice is the best Apple Menthol I've had. It has a good fresh apple flavor and not overpowered with the menthol. My wife's favorite juice and she's picky.

Can't wait to try it my order got delayed one day :nah: but should come tomorrow since it says it's in my city already.

You and that tiramisu lol. I tried it and liked it at first but after it steeped a while it tasted like coffee grounds and chocolate which I didn't care for

I got a lot of black coffee from the Tiramisu as well with a little sweet cream. No cake/cookie. It wasn't bad, just not my thing. I still have half a sample bottle put away in the "meh box".

Sounds good to me, but ti is strange that I don't get any coffee, just cake from Tiramisu. I sometimes add TOTP to it just to get a little coffee.

Flavorings are cheap and so is good nic solution and easy to change the level for experimenting. I've never heard of a diy'er that didn't purchase multitudes of flavors in and out of their "profile"

I recently received my FB winnings from VW.

I got:
120 ml of "Its so Fluffy" - 6mg max VG
30mL of "Citrus Bear" - 3mg 65% vg
30mL of "On Cloud Custard" - 3 mg 65% vg
10mL of "Stars & Stripes" - 6mg 65% vg

I usually HATE banana flavors and would NEVER have bought Citrus Bear, but was very surprised by how much I liked it right out of the box. I hope the banana doesnt intensify after added steep time. I may even put an order in at 1.5% nic when its done but in smaller bottles if the banana gets stronger the longer it sits. Nic is too high even at 3mg and throat hit is strong even at 65%VG.

The OCC isnt my favorite. I prefer it out of the box and dont like it as much after its steeped since it seems to loose the sweetness and its "depth". I cant explain it. Its just bland to me after 4 weeks. I mixed my winning juice with the one I already got a while back to spring it back to life. Nic is good on this one and throat hit is perfect.

The Stars and Stripes is way too strong for me nic wise and throat hit and the flavor isnt amazing. Its just ok- I get mainly blueberry.

The "Its so fluffy" is sweet, but has a burnt sugar taste when vaping and has zero flavor for me. Considering the volume I received, I decided to get into DIY and make it vapeable and to bring it down to 3mg nic. It was my first real attempt at DIY and I started with 20 mL volume to test. So far, Im liking the results and think that I would benefit from making my own juice. Its actually an enjoyable process.

This is what I did:

Total volume 20ml

(Percentage based on 20ml)
1.5% FA watermelon
2.0% FA cantaloupe
1.5% FA mango
5.0% TFA honeydew
1.5% FA white peach
2.0% TFA strawberries & cream

10ml base flavor ('It's so Fluffy' from VW)
3.8mL PG
4.5mL VG

Smell test- perfect
Taste test - Awesome, with watermelon in the forefront...hoping with added steep time the honeydew and cantaloupe will come out ahead.

So far I'm really happy with the results. I may have to add some sweetener, more mango and cantaloupe to the next batch test, but still loving the first!!!!!

I only bought the flavors I needed so I may not be in the norm ;)

FYI Rachel "It's so fluffy" is my one of my ADV's.......it has just a touch of flavor and that's what I can vape inside.....anything more is just too strong flavored for me.....but I have been known to mix other flavors with it to tone them down....

Good job Rachel! I'm assuming you used the juice calculator. I don't really like the nicotine VW uses. I can't tell if it's stronger flavor than others are just a little harsh. That's why I'm at 3mg. I think a good nicotine doesn't have a flavor effect. Letting that batch steep like you're doin and mixing a different one is a better idea than trying to adjust it. Some people keep messin with a batch and get frustrated cause they can't get it right and give up. I would try just the watermelon and cantaloupe in a test batch too. Sometimes when I try to get too complex I end up just getting a blend of stuff that is hard to distinguish the primary flavors I'm shootin for and over flavoring can mute flavors. A drop or 2 of lemon juice will perk up fruit flavors but if you have to do that there was probably not enough flavor to start with. Give yourself time and you'll probably find yourself more normal :D

ETA: Congratulations again on the juice win! :)

Okay, so Juice Box is a no for me. I let it steep for a week, then decided to try it out last night when I got my Subtank Mini. I had just built a .59ohm coil and decided to try it out, but the Juice Box was the only flavor I had that was, at least I thought it was, ready to go. So I primed my coil, filled my tank, and took her for a spin... it was a disaster. Tasted like a hot chemical Capri Sun.

Now, it might have been the fact that I had a huge leak because, in my haste to try out my coil and take pictures, I had forgotten to screw the top cap onto the RBA deck, so when I put the tank together, all the juice leaked out through the air holes. I did my best to clean it up, rinsing and drying it out, but I'm not sure if there was some residual moisture or not.

I took four drags of the Juice Box, but they just tasted horrible, hurt my throat, and made me nauseous. I think I'll let it breathe for a while, but I'm going to dump this tank for now; maybe throw it into the Frankenstein bottle.

On a better note, I filled a clearo with OCC and I love it. I haven't let it steep at all, but it tastes fantastic. I had a little bit of the Frit Hoops left on the BVC head, which added a really interesting taste to the OCC. Once the Fruit Hoops vaped off though, the flavor of the OCC was just awesome. Definitely going to get it again.
