Hello everyone! I've been vaping and cigarette free for 9 days now and quite excited, but the past couple of days have left me wondering if I'm doing something wrong and I could use some friendly advice from those veterans out there.
My equipment: Joyetech ego-t.
A clear atomizer or cartomizer, i don't know, vision stardust I think they're called.
16mg tobacco e-juice from what seems like a reputable made in the USA company.
Everything was fantastic until a couple of days ago. I was extremely excited to have stopped smoking, starting to really enjoy vaping, and really just finding my comfort zone with how much and how often to vape. Then suddenly, everytime I vaped, my mouth would just VERY slightly burn. I had read that nicotine causes tissues to feel kinda burney. But hey, I AM vaping nicotine after all, so no real concern there at first. Then I realized I was getting a tad lightheaded and weird feeling after I vaped. Now I started to get a little concerned. Next came a pounding heart everytime I had a decent vape. Now I'm a bit freaked out, and staring down at my new little toy I noticed something. It seemed like the e-juice in the container was much darker than it was to begin with. So dark now that I was having a hard time seeing the measurement ticks on the side of the see through tank. Just to be sure, I grabbed a new tank and filled it up. I wish I had a decent camera to take a picture with because the difference in color is truly insane. A very very light yellow/amber for the new tank. And a dark caramel, almost brown color for the old tank.
I have been filling the tank full, then vaping until it is between 1/4 and 1/2 empty, then filling it back up again. Is it normal for the liquid to change color? Like maybe it gets heated and changes color? Or is it possible that somehow the nicotine is not wicking into the atty evenly and possibly my mixture is getting stronger and stronger as I continue to fill up?
I have been vaping on the newly filled tank for a couple of hours now and the difference in certainly notable. It's back to great comfortable vaping. Can somebody help me make sense of this?!?
