I love midnight apple and longhorn and prefer the mini tanks on the G6 vs the carts. I did have a bad experience with one mini tank. The longhorn flavor was just awful. I ended up throwing the mini tank out the next day.

Didn't know you could use old carts for dripping...so cool!

I have both those flavors..with 0 nicotine. And I don't like them much. I wonder if they are better with nicotine in them but I won't buy new samples to test that theory. I got a sample of Southern Classic 12 mg nicotine for free and I think I did like that one and ordered another sample just to make sure because I used my empty tribeca cartridges for the Sourthern Classic..so I have never tried it pure out of a tank. I don't know what I was thinking getting so many juices without nicotine. I should have tried it first, now I'm stuck with a whole bunch.

okay, I'm confused even more now. I tried the captain jack ...again...using the dripping technique by removing the polyfil out of an old cart..and it was good! It was one that I used Hawk Sauce in previous to Captain jack (when the poly was still in it) so maybe that made it better? I'm gona have to start taking notes.

*edit* The dripping method without the polyfil ends up leaking all over. Now my passthrough battery is leaking juice out of the push button. Soooooo...try at own risk I guess. I only put 2 to 4 drops in.

There was a recent thread with a video in the Halo forum showing how it's done:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...cart-into-drip-atomizer-test-taste-juice.html

This is not a good idea.

If you really want to drip, get a dripping atty. Or use a small tank, Like Nano or baby T3 and fill it halfway...

It's not easy to remove the polyfill from a cartomizer without damaging the heating coil. Plus the thing will leak and burn your juice--and possibly damage your battery.

Just a warning. Proceed at own risk.

I rest my case...

Sorry. That was a bad idea to begin with. Please see my post above.

Grab a nice dripping atty for your sampling--and a drip tip. :)

Apparently... lol Great, now the thing works without me pushing the button...that can't be good....as in the button must be stuck

Did you get juice on the button? If so, it's a very bad thing. You don't want any juice inside your battery...

EDIT: I see that you did... Get a new battery. The circuitry is dead.

I'm sorry.

I'm not giving up on it yet. It was turning itself on without the button being pushed and when I unplugged and replugged it it was fine ...until it automatically turned itself on again. So I put it aside for a bit and plugged it back in now...doesn't seem to turn itself on anymore...but I will be watching it as a hawk and not letting it be plugged in without me right next to it! But maybe I rescued it...one can only hope.
It would be sad to see this thing go after 2 days of use. It is a back up now though..since I just got an eGo set up..but still.

In that case, put your battery in a bag of rice and leave it alone for 24 hours or so. If it's not completely dead, the rice will hopefully absorb the rest of the moisture from the battery.

Good luck.

Good idea! It turned itself on again without the button being pushed, but stopped doing it when I pushed the button...so I followed this advice. Will see tomorrow I guess.
