Or whatever. I have been vapeing pretty hard for the last four days. I got some 24mg juice from V4L and like it alot. I have been coughing pretty frequently today, not while hitting the ecig though.
My question is, is this from vapeing or is it because I am coughing out all the garbage from the analogs. If you have been vapeing for a while do you still have a smokers/vaper's cough?
This is really a question for the more experienced but I cant post it anywhere else.
Thanks.

For me, yes and yes. A lot of that coughing is likely your body working to clear up your lungs. I've experienced this while trying to quit with patches and gum as well.

Sometimes I do cough with the vaping either from one great hit or sometimes out of the blue if I've been vaping a lot. It's a cleaner, less gurgley cough.

(now, Im not one of the experienced ones, been vaping for 2 months)

Its the cough you get when you quit smoking, in my opinion. Having quit cold turkey many times, as well as used gums and patches, and then again when I started the ecig, its always the same when I stop cigs not the nic- my lungs hack up the yuckies...mine went away within three weeks. I think people forget they will get side effects from stopping smoking, headaches, dry mouth, a caugh, mood swings, insomnia- these things are not from the ecig in *my opinion, but we get them because we stop smoking- even when we are still getting the nic in other forms. But I only speak for me...some think the dry mouth, headaches, etc, is from the ecig...

I am so sorry you are going thru this and thrilled you posted it
I stopped smoking 6 months ago, a 3 pk a day guy Also have COPD and I vape tons of this stuff, Recently, I have noticed I am coughing a lot more than the past, Now, I do vape 36mg and maybe a bot 24mg, however, I do feel like it has started my cough up more than earlier
NO WAY near the amount I would cough when I smoked analogs, my only concern, is my wife looks at me, with that LOOK, saying with her eyes
thats from your vaping, I think she is right ( as always )

I used to have a small "smokers cough" before I quit a little over 2 months ago.Just a little cough every now and then but I would do it several times a day.It went away almost immediately when I started vaping.
And I did have symptoms initially that some think are caused by the E cig.I think they were just side effects of quitting smoking too.

Try looking through the forum for posts on this - perhaps in the big thread where we try to get all the side-effects together (for this reason, among others... so people will be able to find things again when they or others need to find it later on).

Pure from memory, so I could be off a bit; but I think I read that clearing lungs can take as long as 6 to 8 months (so then it's still a follow-up from smoking, not from vaping).
But do look it up, in case I'm wrong - and of course go to your doctor if you don't trust what you are experiencing, and ask his or her opinion also.

Thanks for the replys. I have noticed that if I am using the straight 24mg liquid that I have I get a much more potent throat hit than with the 6mg stuff or when I mix the two. I was drinking last night and vapeing my head off. I think it may be a combo of both but I can say for sure that I can already tell a difference for the better.
