Born in Waco, short stint in Houston area back in the 80's and most of my life in Abilene where I presently reside. A son who graduated from UT who lives in San Antonio and a daughter who graduated from Tech and is still in Lubbock. Some family in Dallas so I make the rounds occasionally.

Unfortunately yes, I'm two blocks from the tracks, I've been hung up waitin on the train and seen literally dozens leap off right in front of me. I guess they get on around the border and dive off here lol...and that's just the ones who take the train.

Then you know my area. I am in Baird right now. Little old town with little old people. Vaping is coming in strong around here now.

Hi Guys! I'm in Abilene, well, just slightly West in a town that shall not be named. I've been on this site for two days trying to figure out what to buy. The place over on 14th was selling 510s but she won't buy anymore because of the government. So I'm thinking a kr808d, but how many batteries should I buy? How long do they last before you have to buy new ones?

There are many "kits" that offer 2 auto-batts in one pack. "So I'm thinking a kr808d, but how many batteries should I buy?" I would advise (noob, vaping since Tues to clarify) that you buy a "pack" with at least 2 batts. I picked a "pack" w/ 2 auto batts. I also ordered 1 manual batt (per reading threads/posts that I read on this forum) to try the manual vs. auto. I have found that auto vs. manual doesn't really make a difference. Just my noob opinion though.

That's what I did. I got a starter pack with 2 autos, 5 carts, and a charger. Then I added the USB PT, a manual battery, 15 more carts, a PCC, and 2 bottles of juice. With shipping it was all about $120.
What I meant by asking that was how many <i>extra</i> batteries to buy. The company had 5 packs of batteries, and after trying to take in all this information, I thought maybe I should by a lot of extras. But you know, I have a bad habit of over-shopping, so I dropped a bunch of stuff. I figure if I like it then I can order more. Shipping from China was less than $20, so I didn't need to freak out like that. I can't wait! Even if I don't like the thing I'm still going into my favorite bar to show it off to all my friends. We have a pretty archaic ban in Abilene, and I have yet to see anyone with a PV. I got extra Dr. Pepper flavor because I know they're all going to wan to try that.
Next step: Break out all the old chemistry gear and buy from FlavourArt. (I think my pretend cart converted to about $200...)
