I know that this thread is not a review thread. But being in customer service for 27 years I wanted to make a comment. I recieved a call from K3vin this morning. that the batch of nic I ordered from him at Vaperstek wasn't made exactly to his spec. I told him I hadn't had a chance to even try it yet and he promptly told me that he was sending out the right spec today and to keep the old one. I would have probably never known the difference. I also told him of my plans and that I was wanting to get into making juice as a business and he gave me some great advise along with a suggestion of trying nic in a different mix than I ordered. He then told me he would send some of that along complimentary for me to try. First the being proactive and not waiting for a complaint impressed me, but making it right and going above and beyond is truly awesome service. I can't wait until Saturday when I get to do my testing versus what I have been using. If this nicotine is half as good as I have read I think I am going to be a pretty happy vaper. Thank you Kevin for being a role model in how to satisfy a customer.

J,
Thank you for giving us a try. You know I have been A "customer" in the vaping industry for some time and this is what compels me to just keep the lines of communication open, and to cut off at the pass any issues that may arise.

OK. You guys have me sold. I'm going to place my order right now for some nic & after reading Slots talking about Shisha, I think I may have to expand my horizons a bit... was only planning on nic - but, uh oh! I usually only vape fruity vapes - but like them complex, so this could be the bomb!! :D

Bring it on MOMMAY, we are ready.. ;)

I have been reading other areas of the forum and I see one constant running through them, besides the fact that our nic is good,is that some people are upset about shipping. Let me see if I can put this in perspective:

This nicotine is not from india nor is it from china, So, how can some vendors give free shipping on certain orders for nic and such? Well frankly they are paying less than HALF of what I pay for this nicotine. SO what do I do, Do I actually up the pricing to about where they do? I dont think that would be viable, People would balk at the price on this nicotine, even if it was free shipping. A place or 2 have recently lowered their nicotine prices by at least 1/4 of what it was to stay competitive, gee, how can they do that and still make money to pay their employees? Because the original price was very high compared to what they are paying for nic. I have researched nicotine pricing for close to a year and I will tell you, to get what I have is not inexpensive in any way, shape or form.

IF I was to set my pricing for what I actually pay wholesale it would be EXTREME ;) and it wouldnt matter if I had free shipping or not.

If you dont want to pay shipping, thats ok, but if I gave nicotine away I would be out of business very soon. And some of you who have been in this "culture" for some years know the price of pure nicotine, and its usually pretty inexpensive. I charge for shipping so that I can keep NIc pricing reasonable. You would be surprised what can be put into the $12 shipping box. I can squeeze in 4 litres into that box. now divide $12 between 4000 ML. and its still a steal.

FYI, This post is not out of anger nor frustration, I just feel the need to let you who balk at my shipping to try and understand what it is like to run a business and that overhead does come into play.

Thank you, Kevin

If you want the best bang for your buck, VT nic is the way to go.

When you first started selling your nic online, I was one of those guys that was reading all of the rave reviews, not totally believing what I was reading. Person after person saying how clean, flavorless etc it is. I was (haha am) a frugal type of guy. Even with all of the rave reviews I still couldn't pull the trigger because of the price, and the fact that I had 500ml of 100mg in the freezer.

Then you lowered the price to make it competitive with all others and I ran out of excuses. Placed the order (2 120ml bottles and about 15 Inawera flavors). $6 shipping, how is that too much? I guess if I just ordered one small bottle of nic $6 might seem expensive, but like you said about the bigger box, you can (and did!) fit a lot of stuff in the $6 flat rate box.

With that being said, and don't tell the Vapers Tek folks this, I'm spoiled now, I won't use any other nic. If you double the price of nic and triple the price of shipping I'll grit my teeth, cuss a little bit, then place my order. It really is just that good.

I finally had a chance to try my Vaperstek Nic today. Here is a review of my experience:

Shipping time and packaging were excellent. I ordered 240ml of VG base 100mg/ml nic on July 3rd and received it on the 8th. I did not have a chance to try it until today so I put it in the fridge a few days after receiving it, still sealed in the plastic baggie it came in.

Today, after removing it from the fridge and letting it warm to room temp for a few hours, I proceeded to shake the bottle repeatedly over the next couple of hours and then opened the baggie and bottle. The smell was a little more musty than I expected, very similar to my RTS nic perhaps slightly less but not by much. I proceeded to mix some to about 6.3mg/ml in Essential Depot VG (added 10% water on one batch and 10% 0.9 saline on another).

Cleaned out my Atomic clone with a single 0.8 Ohm coil of triple twisted 30 Gauge kanthal, dry burned and rinsed the coil a few times, and re-wicked it with a fresh piece of rayon.

I saturated the wick with my VT nic mix and vaped it, repeated this a few times. I then dripped some RTS nic base that I had sitting around (mixed to 6.9mg/ml with VG only) and vaped that.

I taste some of the mustiness that I smelled in the VT nic in the vapor, not a lot but it is definitely there. Compared to the RTS nic, the VT nic seems ever so slightly cleaner tasting but not by a lot.

So in summary, I expected it to be a lot cleaner smelling and tasting than it does. It might be slightly cleaner than my RTS nic which I have had for about 2 months but it is not tasteless even at 6.3mg/ml, to my palate at least.

This review is based on my experience and taste and is not intended to imply anyone else is wrong in their experiences.

Tried the VT nic today. 12mg 50/50 using Essential Depot VG/PG. It had a peppery smell and slight pepper taste. Vaped it side by side with some WL and it is slightly cleaner. Has a funky taste that I cannot explain but not as much as WL. Don't know what "clean" nic should taste like as this is the first time I have vaped unflavored. Guess I expected something different after all the hype. Will mix with some flavors and and see what happens.

I was going to mix the Inawera Orange(WG) that came with my order of VT Nic to test it when my phone rang. It was Kevin!!! He said that his nic shouldn't taste peppery and he is going to replace the nic that I ordered. Blown away at the customer service. Oh the anticipation! vil-bravo.gif
