I figured. Wish I would have found vaping sooner would have quit analogs a long time ago. I'm gonna need a bottom feeder before to long. Everytime I turn around I'm refilling a tank or at least changing it. Or recharging a battery. Or worse running outta juice. AHHHHHH! Or messing with some other vaping accessory. But it's so much fun. Lol. I feel like a little kid with new toys.

The reason is that we get something around 30% or less of the nicotine dose we got from smoking, so we vape more often to make up the difference.

If you get dizzy or nauseous, you exceeded what your body is used to from smoking. Then, it's time to back off a bit and find a good vaping pace that satisfies the nic urge without side effects.

I just got my starter kit a little over a week ago. I'm trying my best to stop smoking after 36 years of PAD. I've tried everything...patches, gum, prescriptions, cold turkey. Nothing has worked for me. Yet. I think this may be the time I can make it but I'm terrified that I'm going to OD on this stuff. It seems like I am vaping all the time. Some of my problem is that now I can do this inside the house when I never smoked cigarettes indoors...ever. Making myself always go outside in the weather was my way of punishing myself.

I wonder if I should make myself vape only outside too, so I can control my vaping time? How do you know if you are vaping too much? I am using mostly 12 mg and a few 18mg and drinking tons of water. Most of the liquids I ordered taste bleh, but there are a few that are wicked awesome and I can't put them down. I'm a complete newbie....am I out of control?

I vaped like a lunatic for the first few months. Mind your body's signals like nausea, dizziness or anything that doesn't feel right. Drink PLENTY of h2o as nicotine is very dehydrating and make sure that you are using a mg strength that is right for you (going too low especially at first is not a great idea).

Don't worry about it - you are conscious of it now because it is new and you are changing a major behavior. After a few weeks you will slowly and gradually be able to put the PV down for a bit longer.

Sir_Die, glad you enjoy it! It was hard for me to compare vaping to smoking. If I lit a cig, I felt obligated to smoke the whole dang thing. They were expensive, and I was/am an addict. I find that now? I like the fact that I can just vape for a few hits and set it down. I can of course vape constantly if I wish. But now, I find that I just take a few hits every now and then.

Cross-posting from another of your threads?

It may have been the nicotine causing the headaches. I've started playing around with 30% pg 70% vg @ .6mg nicotine and I'm getting a decent TH and no headache.

You probably mean 6 mg of nic instead of .6 mg. You may need to up your nic level, and vape less. 24 mg is a good starting point for humans that smoked seriously. Cigs are a big brew of things that we were used to, but vaping changes all of that.

If you want more TH, more PG than VG usually helps. 80/20 is a good place to try.

I see you are a truck driver? I was a farmer for 25 years, it was easy to light one up in my tractors whenever I wanted. Smoking and a steering wheel, just seem to go together, I know...

Stick with it, keep trying different juice. It won't take very long of Not-Smoking (TM) before you can try other devices.

It's not even for the nicotine anymore. I just enjoy it. I would call it a hobby.

^ What he said.

Yeah I've been vaping every half hour since I got mine yesterday. Acapella, I wouldn't worry about it, really. I think I read about how even if you were to drink a bottle of 36mg liquid, you'd need a bunch more to actually kill you because the nicotine is so diluted. Maybe someone could chime in with the facts on this.

But I feel much better about my health now that I don't think of cancer every time I smoke. Not too worried about vaping :D I figure after a bit of vaping you won't want to vape all the time, like when the new toy syndrome wears out. I am getting sick of this joyetech vanilla liquid though :s

So does anyone else vape like 20 times more then they smoked or is it just me?

Nope, it's just you.... JK If I am not at work, I have a pv almost permanently attached to my face. It just tastes so good!!! I keep lowering my nic level because I vape that much. Whatever, I can breathe better and that is what's important.

Well I've been analog free for about two months now and vaping since. I had also tried everything. This worked for me cause I still had something to do with my hands.

I have my mix down to 70% vg 30% pg and yea 6mg not .6 (noob mistake).

As for anyone looking for liquids that are not "meh" I know everyone will suggest something different cause we all have different taste I personally suggest Mountain Oak Vapors.

If a trucker can quit smoking while being out on the road 4-6 weeks at a time. I think anyone has a chance.

They should add to the fine print of a professional driving job application "This job may cause excessive amounts of smoking and swearing."

Yes, we all vape more than we smoked, especially in the beginning. There are a lot of reasons. First, it delivers nicotine different. To get the most out of the nicotine, do a french inhale. Suck it in your mouth, hold it for a second, then inhale and blow out through your nose and mouth. You absorb more nicotine through your mouth and sinus cavities than your lungs.

Many of us vape more because we can. You have more places you can do it. Even if your job doesn't allow vaping, you can stealth vape in a bathroom or office. Let's not forget about our home. Personally, I never smoked in my house, but now, since I can, my pv is permanently attached to my face the entire time I am in bed watching tv

Lastly, it tastes good, so we vape for flavor. Let's be honest, most of us really didn't like the taste of those analogs
