so in my pursuit of vaping above 200 Watts I made a fuse 3x24ga gauge wrapped with 36 gauge and I tried three coils. it came out .07 I Vaped it at about 375 watts it was a hot vape but the ohms were very low so I had a problem with power my dna 250c was reporting 65 amp output so I took that and put in dual fuse 22ga gauge wrapped with 36 gauge I ran that build triple coil I used it at about 250 Watts. what I am trying to do is vape at about 300 to 400 watts with an ohm or .2 to .3. the inner diameter will be 5.5 or 5 mm I'll be using the kanthal core wrapped with 36 gauge and ni80.I'm trying to figure out what my next bill should be to try to vape above 300 watts the restrictions I have is it can't be below point 1 ohm or above .3 ohm I have two aromamizer plus has with the series deck The parallel deck a second parallel deck and a single coil deck. The single coil deck fit 6.36 mm.

I also have the aromamizer titan.

What gauge would you Clapton?

8 wraps on 5mm of fused 22ga KA1 should come in around ~0.4Ω, so a pair should give you your 0.2Ω requirement.

The DNA 250C puts out a max of 65A, to hit 400W on a 4S config you need to have the resistance above 0.1Ω and below 0.25Ω.

Because it's what I want to do. If you aren't going to post anything constructive don't say anything
I've already posted positive. If you want to take a technology which saves lives, and turn it into an abomination, I reckon that's fine. Except it does affect me and every other responsible vaper out there.

What is the point? Is it bragging rights?

At least you're not going for a kilowatt.

I'm done. Pleasant dreams.

Let the kiddie blow his face/hand off, its his right

Mod makers, they just keep throwing out safety with number creep (bigger must be better) and making mods that "normalise" where newbies think we all vape.

The news has been full of nothing but bloody covid-19 and the hoarding of TP, i for one would appreciate a break from it

Plus theres the Darwin Awards to think of, some people will do anything to get into them

Off you go champion. bragging rights are only good if youre around to claim them

EDIT: I see you've edited your post and decreased from 300 watts to 200 watts. My question remains.
in his last post it was 370 watts with a lipo battery lol. He himself does not know the point, otherwise he would've pointed it out last time :)

Well 8m not requiring 400w that's why I said to .3. but I don't run round wire hence why I asked what should I Clapton.

Please post before and after pictures of your visit to the hospital.
I don't understand why everyone is so against vaping high wattages. It's really no big deal as long as you follow battery safety. Well I guess I'm on my own with this.

A 0.3Ω build would get you as high as 325W.
All Claptons have a round wire component too them... Steam Engine's Wire Wizard will allow you to throw whatever combination of wire you need and get the specs on that coil.

Just cause someone vapes differently than you does not make how they vape wrong. It's just different now either be helpful or get off my thread.

Heres the thing, and please pay attention, its really unwise to tell veterans to get out of "your" thread, for starters......

When theyre actively trying to get you to be safe, and get across the message to others that what youre doing is very much out of the ordinary and flirting with danger, then their warnings are going to trump whatever rights you think you have here

I use steam engine. And I can make wire all day. But on steam engine I don't understand what part tells me how high of wattage I can run on a specific build.

I've been building for almost a year I can make everything from twisted and twisted Clapton to framed staples. I understand the basics what I don't understand is how to say ok fused 22ga wrapped with 36 will be good at x amount of watts. Can you give me some instruction on how to figure out what watts a specific build will run at?

Thank you!!!

I'm just looking for help not comments on what you think I'm doing or your opinion on what I'm doing. I asked plain and simple what would you run. I'm running a regulated mod on a board designed for 60a Max. With a battery rated at 85amp.

I am doing my best to run at 55amp or less. I do not see if I am keeping within the safe limits of the battery and the chip, how it is anymore dangerous than running a stacked mech. Generally lipo do not explode. It won't short out.

I have over 10 years experience with lipo batteries. You can blow your face off with 18650 too. So don't sit here and tell me that I should put up with people being asses about this. All I asked for was advice on a coil build not 3000 reason why you think I shouldn't do it.

And if they want to boot me I don't really care this is the only thing I'm gonna ask here.
