I wear glasses and definitely notice some of this. Especially if the juice is a higher VG juice. Then when that stuff sticks and you try and clean it, it smears more than actually being removed.

Go to the grocery store and pick up some glasses lens cleaner. You can get spray and a microfiber cloth or your can get wipes kind of like wet ones that are meant for glasses. They work like a dream. Mysterious, but like clockwork.

I second this. You just have to clean them a lot. Good microfiber cloth makes all the difference.

Is the vapor coming out from the top of your head, and down towards your glasses? That darn gravity...always causing trouble.

In all seriousness, I doubt it is the vapor. I just blew a few clouds onto my glasses, no fogging/left over residue was detected.

I don't wear glasses but I always clean my car windows with a microfiber cloth.

When it comes to the vaping haze on car windows I've found that wiping the windows with a DRY microfiber cloth works best. Adding any form of liquid, be it window cleaner or water tends to make the VG residue mix in with the liquid and it just smears it around. You still end up with a light haze. However, it just wipes right off with a dry microfiber cloth.

Getting older and noticed my eyes weren't quite as sharp as they once were. So I went to the optromatrist and wouldn't you know it, I need glasses. Picked them up two weeks ago and my vape clouds seem to be sticking to my glasses.
I feel like I'm cleaning them constantly and not very well I might add.
Anyone else experiencing this and any recommendations on cleaning practices?

It's not just you. I have to clean mine all the time too. I've had Rx glasses since I was 6 or 8 years old. I'm noticing that I am cleaning them A LOT more since vaping. I've also noticed that it is sticking to the windows in my house (real pane glass) too and creating a film. I usually vape high VG juices.

I actually wear reading glasses and have...6, no 7 pairs, around the house/car. For the first 20" I am rather blind. Anyway, about quarterly, my wife will mention running the dishwasher and I will think and grab them all. In the garage I use vinegar-based Windex and a paper towel.

I wouldn't do that with a pair of prescription glasses, the coatings on the surface of the lenses can be rather delicate. Paper towels can be abrasive enough to scratch the coating or even some plastic lenses. Don't ask me how I know. Dishwasher detergent is rather intense stuff, and I'd be very worried about the detergent and heat just destroying the coating.

I'd stay with official glasses lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth for prescription lenses.

Reading glasses, I'd not really worry about; comparatively inexpensive and probably more hearty that prescription lenses.

I vape 50 vg and I do notice a film on my glasses (and my laptop screen). I use the monitor wipes on both. For the eyeglasses when out of the house, I use either lens cleaner and a lens cloth, or the little, individually packaged wipes.

The film seems to come off fairly easily. Haven't noticed any real film in the car, but I don't vape heavily while driving, just a hit here and there.

Wouldn't think tootle puffers would have that problem.

On a serious note use care when you clean them. Some cleaners can damage lenses depending on coatings. A microfiber cloth works great.

i can`t believe no one mentioned this..... good ole soap and water. DUH!!! my GF sees me doing this and comments why don`t i just rub the lens with a cloth but that doesn`t cut skin oils and fingerprints. i do the same with sunglasses. soap and water is your friend. dry with a soft cloth after.

Soap and water, especially detergents, can damage some of the coatings used on modern "plastic" lenses. In addition, they leave residues of their own in some cases.
